Not to insult any Italians or anything, but Italy is probably the most corrupt country in the world.

I hope Man City learns from Chelsea's example and realises that money =/= good team. You need to pair players up by how well they know/understand eachothers game. It's a matter of "soccer intelligence". I doubt that any of the people surrounding Kaka (in a Man. City squad) would be intelligent enough to play with him. On the other hand, look at Rooney and Ronaldo. Beautiful. Beckham + any forward. Again, beautiful. Alex knows how to pair his players and it shows. That's why he wins so often.

I'm not a united fan boy by any stretch of the imagination so lets settle that right now. What I want to say is (and what the point of this post is) is that City needs to think about building a team rather then signing marquee players.

uhm what has corruption to do with this? you can talk about conflict of interests maybe, because you could think that buying famous players could increase the number of electors, but I don't know how many ppl would be so dumb, I can't think of anything else which could be wrong otherwise, it's just kinda funny actually but nothing else

This is just really terrible, I predict Mark Hughes will be sacked soon and replaced by a more famous manager that has experience managing superstars and big egos. I have no idea why they would want to buy Bellamy, but I do sort of hope they get a world class player, will make the premiership more interesting. They should've never fired Erickson imo.

Bellamy is a great player. He played really well with West Ham. You could tell he was by far one of the best on the team. I think he was a smart buy because he is more of the lurking forward who can beat any defender in the premiereship with pure speed alone.

Once again though Man City really needs defenders and a holding midfielder if they have any hope of battling for top 3.

Bellamy is a good player I think too, but a price tag of over £10m is steep. These days people's prices are so ridiculous, especially in the Premiership.

For example a young player bought from say Brazil would cost £2-3m but someone from England with similar skill would be around £10m. That's what of the problems I dislike

Bellamy does not worth 14m at any stage of his career, and I can't see how scoring more goals will make MC win more games. Its like their primary aim is to outscore their opponent, unfortunately EPL is a league of not conceding.
