Vietnam is a biggest market in SEA and have a big community of Blizzard product. But no one distribution game from Blizzard in Vietnam.
Now, in Vietnam we have the Cyber Generation, the first and only Company distribution Original Games in Vietnam.
For a long time, Vietnames alway using Blizzard product and other company with the Piracy Game. But for someone wanna get the original game from Blizzard, this is very hard to get because Blizzard dont have any Company distribution their product in Vietnam.
Cyber Generation, the first and only one partner of EA, Vivendi Universal, Atari,... in Vietnam. For a long time, they dont have any Bliizard product because they dont have anyone know the product from the main oppotunity of EA.
For now, me - admin of website www.vietstarcraft.vn the biggest Starcraft community website in Vietnam - happy to public with international starcraft community this news:"the marketing manager of Cyber Generation is me and i like to get the Starcraft 2 to distribution in Vietnam with Cyber Generation."
you can visit Games Corner, the distribution store of Cyber Generation to see how many game they distribution in Vietnam www.gamescorner.vn

For some reason I had to think of Borat. Anyway, wouldn't it be better to send a mail to Blizzard?

I don't know why Blizzard wouldn't release the games in Vietnam. It has quite a large market for Blizzard games, and Blizzard would even stand to probably make a lot of money.

I wonder if it's also a problem of localization for starcraft 2/wow. It might be as simple as they don't have a translator to handle support issues inside of vietnam?
Just to go off the top of my head of what you need to release a product in another country (even when someone else is selling it), you need localized help files, a knowledge of the local keyboard setup so that it installs correctly, tech support, and testing to make sure that it works on a ocmputer that is bought from any store locally (it's tough to test for that; some computers in china are loaded with some random stuff that makes a lot of things not work...)

Even if Blizz released it in Vietnam, i doubt anyone would pay their inflated price over getting a pirated version for cheaper. But i take this experiance from China, so i don't know how it works in Vietnam.

I don't think blizzard could compete with the pirates.

Pirated SC2 does not bring you Bnet... so you still need to buy it.

Blizzard comes to TL.Net before it makes any decisions on Starcraft 2 or any other Blizzard related game for that matter.
This was the best option.
