it'll score 1 point and then be shelved. i don't see that as being a long term liability.

Video Ad It's already begun. *shakes head* Here's the thing about Biden. If this statement was the only line of attack the McCain camp would be able to bring up he'd be a fine choice. But it's not. Biden has a long and storied history filled with bouts of foot in mouth disease.

Still watching this ^-^ Biden seems like a smart guy, I see this as a good pick. Early on in the primaries I liked what he had to say but never thought of supporting him since he seemed to have no chance. edit: finished watching.. he really is good at attacking. Smart guy. He tears McCain to shreds. Never seen a democrat do that better. edit2: other video :p http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=w7fH1MvXDLc O_O Biden is cool.

But it's a HUGE success in that now on election day they have god knows how many thousands of numbers to send a GOTV message. Depends on how you look at it it's a surprise that nobody spilled who it was days beforehand. The fact that the campaign kept it secret to the very day speks volumes, and now with those numbers they have voter population etc.

obama dominated the news cycle for the last two days yesterday, like 95% of the airtime on cnn was spent talking about Obama's potential VP even though the voters hear it first thing fizzled, the combination of registered phone numbers, and massive media hype makes it probably the best choice the obama camp could have made to reveal the VP I really wonder how mccain will try and match it (since everyone knows its going to be romney anyway lol)

Anyway, now that Obama-Biden is out in the open, someone's already gotten a hold of it and done the inevitable "Vote O(b/s)ama / Bi(n-la)den" thing. It was actually pretty funny. Anyway, I really do wonder who McCain will pick as his running mate now. Obama picked one that wouldn't really make a huge splash in the world of politics (what I mean is, imagine if Obama had picked Clinton or someone), so what will McCain do? Since he's relying a lot on leadership, experience, and patriotism, it'll have to be someone who can complement those traits. EDIT: beaten by something that makes me look dumb ![]() (since everyone knows its going to be romney anyway lol)

I doubt it Mccain doesnt get much coverage positive or negative. They might turn it into an issue, but I doubt you will see the same kind of focus you see on obama

But I loved this quote: Sen. John McCain will have to "figure out which of the seven kitchen tables to sit at" when considering his own economic future, said Biden, jabbing at the man he called his personal friend. I doubt that will get much air time.

Obama will take a lot, McCain will take much more (just like Bush has done).
