lol @ that alphabet theory of diablo 3, if that turns out to be true props to whoever figured it out, that is really something right up blizzard's alley of random tricks.

and the x-fire thing is likely legit, they wouldn't probably put that up if they didn't know for sure. diablo 3 seeming more and more likely.

Gathering the evidence for D3, I am certain that Diablo 3 is in the making. Unfortunately, I'd say it's more likely this image has to do with WOTLK.

The evidence that I'm aware of so far is,(I may be missing a lot)
1. Numerous Job positions mentioning 3d level and model design. In 1 ad, they only mentioned Diablo and Diablo2 as the games that Blizzard has made. In another ad, they mentioned every game Blizzard has ever made, EXCEPT the Diablo franchise.

2. Blizzard has a "secret" development team called, and I quote, "Team 3."

3. Diablo3.com was RECENTLY acquired by Blizzard! It was a Fansite for years and year until Blizzard requested it from the owner. The owner gave it to them for free. It now belongs to blizzard. Sortof sounds like what happened with Starcraft2.com, ya?

4. This thread is an excellent example of the popularity of the Diablo franchise. To date, how many popular franchises has Blizzard let die?........

Blizzard has a reputation for not merely holding on to long-dead franchises, but re-energizing them and making them bigger than ever. It would simply be stupid to not create a Diablo 3. They have the time, the money, the audience, the reputation, etc..

Diablo 3 is Definitely being developed. Just because this picture probably has to do with WoW, doesn't take away all the evidence we still have.

Though I must say, a lot of the D3 theories on the picture are really good. The Diablo anniversary at WWI being one that particularly stands out to me.

showtime and pat: i'll be willing to hold escrow for you guys (dont have to pay me $5 i just want to see this go down and i'm going to be pissed if no one holds the money and so there's no pay out). I'd like to think my i don't know 5 years in TL is good enough to make me reputable not to mention 1k isn't anywhere near the amount money it'd take to get me forsake all my ethics and morals and more importantly, my TL reputation (look for me on liquid poker as well, i play 1/2 and 2/4 nlhe).

I hope it's a new Lost Vikings game.. most of their new games like Diablo II, Warcraft 3 and Starcraft are very uninspired in comparison to Blizzard's older games
