Yeah, that actually is good. So that people don't have to constantly upgrade their system.

well the FAQ doesnt load for me i just see half a leather book cover

All-out graphics assaults are overrated anyway. A game doesnt need to be flashy do be good.

To be honest I would be happy is everything was the same as it was in D2 + new levels. I have already seen enough to buy the game. The graphic look very good if that matters to anyone.

Nah, Diablo 3 looks way better than diablo 2 so far. And i'm not talking about graphics. Game seems way more dynamic, sometimes it looks a bit like a console fighting game ( with the barbarian ).
That was the change that i expected and wanted for this sequel. I seriously hope that player skill in diablo wont rely only on his items and the level of his characters. Gogo good combos for low levels :p.
Combos in Diablo 2 sucked. i mean you have to be level 30 to use whirlwind with the barb :/.

I'm afraid that this game is going to be severely dumbed down. You should have to make strategic decision about which skills to use and timing at many points in the game.
|
You can`t dumb down much in basically H&S no-brainer game?
|
Blizzard ownsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Diablo 2 is fun but seriously it is very simple game. There are 2/3 skill variations for each characters...

If its too much of a D2 clone, just in 3d, then Im afraid I ll play trough the game about 2 or 3 times and get bored with it just like D2.

I CAN'T FUCKING WAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT

What were you expecting D3 to look like?

The cinematic and artwork movies are downloadable using the blizzard downloader .exe files, but the gameplay trailer does not start downloading. Anyone else have this? Or a mirror? ^^

I'm having the same problem, though I do have a badass new wallpaper (not from the websites stash).

You're crazy if you think Diablo 3 should be a strategy oriented action game. That's simply not how Diablo works. There's not much to dumb down.
It's the dirty, simple and fun game that you don't want to admit to being addicted to. Classes will be imbalanced and people will make new overpowered characters every time a patch or new armor comes out. Honestly, if they change nothing about gameplay (besides new graphics, skills, levels, etc.) and add in more PvP functionality, I think it will be a success. PvP in the first game was a lot of fun (moreso pre-LoD and the ridiculous charms + rune words), but there should've been an arena function for competitive PvP.
I hope the open world PvP + hardcore are still there.
