Hi Guys, Vaul here. I'm a D+/C- level Terran player from New Zealand. Many of you will have already been watching my TSL commentaries from the qualifiers stage!! If you haven't check them out here, there are heaps of great games - http://teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=69010
The no.1 site for starcraft commentaries, on which I am a commentator: www.sc2gg.com
Right now i've done the Bo3 series between RoX.ALF vs fuSion.spx! I wasn't too clear on whether the competition rules were that you could only submit one 'game' only per day or one 'match'. If it is only one single game, please only consider set2 (on bluestorm) of the 3 games below. Enjoy.
Thanks guys. For those of you watching game 2 of ALF vs spx, yes I know I forgot to mention the part where the overlord manages to scout the starports. I was trying to get a chance to talk about the commentary competition in game.
At leasts viewers will see what happened. Also, if you're zerg on bluestorm and you've just fended off 2 vults, it's often pretty obvious what is coming next.
My vote is on Vaul, even though you always watch the games you are going to commentate one time before so that you know what both players is going to do
Fuck voting already. I want vods with interested commentators! Please! Spam this thread with your vods! If I was better than ICCUP D rank, I'd do it.... I definitely wanna hear from people that have some concept of strategy, particularly if they can be excited about it.
This game is a decade old, but even in these replays I see stuff that surprises me.
Unfortunately, my voice is monotone and slightly gay sounding. Actually, it's very unfortunate. What kinda girl is gonna hit on a guy that sounds gay? Trust me, it's pretty rare. Anywho........................................ go for it. You don't sound gay like me. You don't have my problems. YOU ARE A GOD OF COMMENTARY!!!!
DO EEEEEET!
NOW!
gogo glhf gg! Korea FTW! someone that can speak korean needs to post this on fucking fighterforum.com
I consulted with Manifesto today via pm. Apparently i'm allowed to post more than one game in this thread, so long as only one of them is considered as an entry into this competition. For today's round, i've already said it will be game 2 of ALF vs spx so I better stick to that.
However, i'm so excited about commentating on the TSL that i've gone ahead and done game one of Excello.CaStrO vs Qpad.ZpuX. It was a great game.
I recorded a RWA, to celebrate the re-advent of this technology. It is on Temujin vs. Sky game 2, so it is a close, long game with large battles and a nearly mined out Blue Storm - but I do not want to spoil too much. It is available here.
Your commentator is Aesop, student of philosophy, currently residing in Hungary, member of TL.net since November last year, following Broodwar Progaming for about half a year. Since then I have wasted spent many hours on this beautiful site, lurking in live report threads and amassing almost 1800 posts. Although I was once fairly successful at wc3 arranged 2on2, entering top 100 in European ladder, I have always rather been on the sidelines as an observer. My greatest achievement in active Broodwar is probably losing painfully to Haypro on the first day the ladder was up.
In my commentary I try to put the focus on the tactical and strategical side. My hope it to convey some interesting info and viewpoints which are not fully obvious. If you disagree with this, just feel free to tell me. This is the first commentary I have ever done, I was waiting for an opportunity to try it - and TSL was just that. Enjoy and give me some feedback.
Yo, I'll Flip a coin later to see what set i'll submit.
