Unfortunately Sadist and Louder had to play already in the brackets and Sadist won 2-1. Do the top two from each tourney advance or just #1. I hope it's top 2 because having LANs with 4 people is a bit silly, 8 would be way better.

how long do your TSL matches take, we can start after we just have to make sure we can get them all done on sunday
TSL will be 2 or 3 bo3's. first two rounds will have TvT or PvT, so they might take longer than average games. so i think i'd be done at 2:30 - 4:00 central.

I don't care when we play. I have a ton of CW/NW over the weekend, though, so that could be tricky. Evenings are best since all that stuff is early in the day for us. But since I play G5, you two should go ahead and work out when it's convenient to play, and we'll deal with the next round Sunday.

Just because someone is 10-0 doesn't mean they are A+. Especially if you're 'high level' you should be going like, undefeated.

Yeah I agree... Having a LAN with 6-8 people (2 pools of 3 people each perhaps? or with 8 a mini-double-elimination tournament) would be better than just having a LAN with only 3 or 4 people. They also should figure out where regionals will be and when because thats pretty important so people can be sure they're able to go. I think it would be optimal to have 4 of these tourneys per region and take top 2 from each and then have 8 man regionals.
In any case I hope I can make it to my LAN. Never been to one, i'm excited!

I really don't think it's an upset, IMO Dino's really good without hacks , he just used hacks because he was a dummy .. not as if he really needs them to be good, but again that doesn't excuse the fact that he did hack.

Just had a friend tell me that smi.black in the yankee league was dino smurfing/hacking. Also heard despite fpvod/iccup he plans on hacking vs me somehow.. no idea. I dont even know if you can hack on ICCUP but I am just pissed off that A. wcg is so bad they removed their own anti hack system this year and B. I have to tolerate this crap just so I can qualify for the most important OFFLINE event for foreigners.

The side of the story you are told is not necessarily the truth. The forfeit rule is 15 minutes, so I'm guessing that Skew was 17-18 minutes late, not 2-3. I wouldn't be willing to wait that long either.
It doesn't seem like Louder would screw over G5 (what little I know of Louder) so I am guessing that G5 either didn't say how long he'd be gone or he said "brb 3" and took more than 3.

Actually Dino 2-0'd G5 pretty bad I saw replays. The games vs Louder were closer and Louder actually won a game vs Dino.

I don't really feel inclined to defend myself, but here's the whole story:
1. Game 1: G5 pauses repeatedly for 3~ minutes at a time with no warning. He ultimately loses the game after about 40 minutes, but made me play for 16 more minutes to kill all his cannons/probes. I had about 8 goons, an arb, 3 temps and 6 zeals, vs his nothing but scattered cannon probe. Then he refused to say GG.
2. Game 2: We both go fast DT. G5 proceeds to call me every name he can think of, telling me what a newbie I am for cheesing - which is ironic since we did basically the same build, only I faked 3 gate goon and went DT and he went 2 gate goon dt. I ended up losing the game because I was lazy and didn't scout early. G5 played it well. Again, no GG, but lots of trash talking.
3. After game 2, G5 says "brb 3 minutesi go smoke" - I say no, let's play, we need to finish I'm not at home. He says OK, makes game, THEN goes afk. For at least 6-7 minutes. I sat in the game for 3 (I timed it on a watch). I went back into channel and it was almost another 5 minutes before he came back.
Let me be clear: I'm not afraid of G5. We were 1-1. I should've gone 2-0 but I got careless. G5 is not the god he thinks he is. In fact G5 and I were, as far as I could tell, on friendly terms up until the second game of our match. There had been no negative exchanges of any kind between us. He acted like a jerk and he paid for it - he was mad he lost to Dino then mad that he lost our first game - so he took it out on me with horrible manner. To top it off G5 even ran his mouth off in the channel while we were talking to the admin at first, calling me more names.
So after all that, I spoke to the admin - I had screenshots of G5 bm'ing me, the admin watched the rep where G5 refused to leave and made me kill all his buildings, and then the matter of me not agreeing to G5 taking a break - all this made the admin agree with me and give me the win.
Not that it matters, because the way Dino played he would beat either of us. But G5 got what he deserved.

I paused it twice in our 1st game cuss people kept coming to the door at my house and i paused and said 1s and u said ok and waited. I didn't trash talk you in the channel, i was being bashed by you, dino and dino's little friends OneAndOnly and some other kid for no reason at all. I think the worst thing i said was that it was bullshit and you were just trying to get a free win (directed at the admin). Don't make up shit and say I called you everything i could think of or was super bm. Dino even called me bm for not saying a word to him. I didn't say gg to him, i guess this is super bm and considered calling him every name I can think according to you.
The admin barely spoke english and was quite frankly retarded, everyone outside of you, dino and dino's butt budies said we should play 3rd game and you know deep down, even though u wont admit it, that the 3rd game should have been played. Is 3 minutes the magical brightline? No. The w/o period is 15 minutes. Anything under that is considered ok by tourney rules. I know he's your player xeris but even you have half a brain to realize this is garbage. No tourney ever would award a w/o for 3 minutes after a 1-1 series (except wcg btw which has a myriad of issues each year).

the stress involved in a competitive bo3 which could inadvertently mean who is going to represent the country and a large cash prize (WCG USA Finals), smoking a cigarette can greatly decrease that stress and allow him to play to the best of his ability, especially if he is an addict. I understand that. And a cigarette only takes about 5 minutes to smoke, so waiting 5 minutes is the same as waiting for someone to take a shit. Arcology almost gets a nod from me, but he claimed to have won after we both had won a best of 3 against each other in the North finals. so WCG lets a known cheater player in the WCG qualifier, why does this happen? He may not have cheated now but he has cheated before it has been proven, isn't that enough?

After checking all replays by a group of experts we'r going in favor of Reign, nobody found anything suspicious.
Due to this kind of troubles, I am going to take measures and not only the player that is being accused is the only one to be penalized but also the player that made the complain will take consequences if I found that his complains are only base on "Suppositions"
who checked those replays? I thought WCG_Kfu was sending it to some korean experts , but I kind of doubt that actually happened, and even if did, explain briefly why it's not suspicious.
