After watching the returns from the North Carolina and Indiana primaries Tuesday night, McGovern said Wednesday it's virtually impossible for Clinton to win the nomination. The 1972 Democratic presidential nominee said he had a call in to former President Clinton to tell him of the decision, adding that he remains close friends with the Clintons.

Honestly, if she does this (well shit, already, cuz she's pissed me off) I hope they just block her out of any political position from now on. That's just shiesty man. I can see fighting for your spot, but you're fucking over the whole party.

Clinton's ONLY hope now is to get the delegations from Michigan and Florida seated, which I don't think is going to happen. It's hard to call Michigan a fair contest when Hillary only managed 55% against her main rival "Uncommited"

Clinton also disclosed that she had loaned her campaign an additional $6.4 million in recent weeks, evidence that her once front-runner campaign was in deep trouble. She told reporters the loans were a sign of her commitment to her quest for the White House. She earlier loaned herself $5 million as she struggled to keep up with a better-financed Obama campaign. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080507/ap_on_el_pr/primary_rdp

![]() I worry about PA though, that is a battle state as well as OH where he wins 30-36% of the white vote.

As such, I think he needs to choose his VP extremely carefully. Who will he choose? I don't know, I actually think that BILL Clinton would be a better choice than Hillary. I gotta check, but I'm pretty sure that this technically does not violate the constitution. For god sakes, I hope he doesn't choose Edwards, I like Edwards, but he only appeals to the demographic that Obama already DOMINATES. He should pick some downtown country boy. Truthfully, I think if he could choose Huckabee, that would be an excellent choice for him. I wouldn't even mind Huckabee being incumbent in 8 years.

once obama gets the lead in superdelegates it's official btw guys don't pay too much attention to the fact that obama hasn't been winning working class voters from clinton. the general election will be a whole new animal and we really can't rely on polls or results that occurred during this stage, we'll have to see how everything looks once obama get's a chance to switch to general election mode
