STEPHANOPOULOS: Can you name one economist, a credible economist who supports the suspension? CLINTON: Well, you know, George, I think we've been for the last seven years seeing a tremendous amount of government power and elite opinion basically behind policies that haven't worked well for the middle class and hard-working Americans.... STEPHANOPOULOS: But can you name an economist who thinks this makes sense? CLINTON: Well, I'll tell you what, I'm not going to put my lot in with economists, because I know if we get it right, if we actually did it right, if we had a president who used all the tools of the presidency, we would design it in such a way that it would be implemented effectively. /facepalm Weve already got one president who ignore professionals and does what he wants. We dont need a second. i have a hard time believing that was a honest statement from her. of course she doesn't really care about economists but at least she's not ill educated enough to disregard them. was just an on the spot moment probably.

![]() BUT lets hope Obama grabs more of the % in NC to erase any gain Clinton gains in Indiana. Right now Fox is saying 53% to 47% Clinton leading. In NC Obama is up by 20%.

The tragedy is that she is extremely well educated, and a very intelligent person. Even if she's not as endearing as her husband or Obama, she should at least be showcasing her intellect and instead she's being drawn further and further into pandering and the game, so much so that she's willing to say stupid shit like that. If she wasn't such a politician, I think she'd actually make a very good president.

EDIT: Her speech is starting to sound like a concession speech... EDIT #2: Well hell, the witch just won't stop. First she mentions her website to raise money, that she will support the Democratic nominee, mentions Fl and Mi, then mentions the Cyclone victims. Thanks her family, Labor people, governor, and staff. Hell she even mentions 9/11. Looks like she is going to force a vote for those two states.
