I think you are referring to the fox news network
I have noticed FOX played a role. However I've seen these images on CNN, CNBC... and every other news network. I don't buy into the notion that FOX is the antichrist conservative christian news station, not that you were suggesting anything so dramatic.
Sean Hanntiy is scary when he is on the such a subject. He has yet to let this go on Friday night he had a subject on the black church or something similar. I wonder if he even knows that Obama has disconnected himself from Wright. I always thought the "fanatic conservative" was just a label but after a couple months he still asks the same question and grills the same topic on every show.

This is incredibly arrogant and really quite stupid. Do you really think it's dumb to question how he could remain a member of Wright's church?
Of course Obama doesn't believe the garbage Wright preaches, but he's been disingenuous about his religious commitment, which I really wouldn't mind except it shows he's playing the game.
what are you talking about Jibba? what does this have to do with my question?
Did you think i thought obama believed in this shit? No shit he BANNED that nubtard. i support him and i was just curious as to how negatively this crazy person, wright, has impacted his campaign. Right now people are asking dumb as fuck questions about that fucking missing flag on his blazer because most Americans are stupid (or at least the campaign process is). i was interested in getting some feed back on whether or not this political propaganda was actually working against his campaign. then again maybe i shouldn't respond to Americans with little reading comprehension.
"everyone i know seems to think this is retarded but i generally only talk to smart people. what do the normal dumb Americans think?"
You don't think that sounds retarded? You don't strike me as an intellectual juggernaut and if you had any sense, you'd know the best coverage is all online, which I know you have access to. Instead, you'd rather watch it on TV which probably means you'd rather "get the news" from watching the Daily Show.
The fact that Obama could remain a member of Wright's church, claims to be religous and then can throw him away like this shows he's feeding into propaganda and the political game as much as anyone else.
sigh... jibba... i was asking some of the other TL.net Americans to tell me how other Americans they knew were responding to the situation... i read the news every day, but i also like talking to other people about it.
see i basically found this thread on tl.net that was all about the "US Presidential Primaries" and i was interested in discussing one of the issues which seemed to be fairly relevant. discussion is uniquely diffrent from reading the news which i already do anyways. Unfortunately a troll named jibba brought up random arguments that had nothing to do with my post like how i apparently get my news from the daily show or that i watch TV all day. you sound like you're arguing with yourself. the other responses from people were more engaging.
oh and and i find this "incredibly arrogant and really quite stupid."
No, that's not what you said at all. You said you don't know what's going on because the Korean TV news doesn't inform you enough, and you only talk to smart people but normal people are stupid. Don't try to redefine what you said, when you clearly didn't mean any of those things.
Oh I forgot, the other Americans we know and talk to are all the dumb Americans because we're not as awesome as to only talk to smart people. Ya, CLEARLY you were just asking for our personal experiences.
My problem is "what do the normal dumb Americans think?" is a shitty thing to say, and I don't think Tasteless is any better than those people except when it comes to casting.

i never said TV jibba, YOU DID! i read the Korean Times (http://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/index.asp) but that doesn't cover the US elections as much. When i asked other TL.net members about how they viewed the general american populations attitude about the Wright situation in the states this some how got translated in ur brain to: "stupid Americans on tl.net, please tell me how you are responding to this situation in the news."
oh and i DO consider most Americans stupid, however i find far too many smart people playing bw and posting on tl.net to categorize this forum as infested with idiots. i was talking about people who believe in astrology, watch American idol and actually give a shit that obama doesn't wear a flag pin... you know, the vast majority of the american voters, the stupid people. How has this wright bullshit impacted the election?
oh and i DO consider most Americans stupid, however i find far too many smart people playing bw and on tl.net to categorize this forum as infested with those types of people (except you).
Yeah, well I've read your posts in other serious threads and I consider you one of those stupid Americans.

consider away Jibba!
just make sure you know how to read when you're busy 'considering' because right now you're reading comprehension sucks and you look like a dick. even an intellectual juggernaut wouldn't need to tell you that though. i'm going to sleep.
To answer your question, none of his voters in the general election are going to confuse his views with Rev. Wright's few statements, but it has pulled the chair out from his "above politics" campaign. The fact that most news compare Wright with Clinton's Kosovo comments is a bad sign, but every candidate has stumbled so far and usually worse.

That certainly helps in your situation.
Concerning Tasteless' question- Since I agree that the majority of Americans are "dumb" as in "too lazy to educate themselves/ think critically about what the media/government is feeding them", I wonder how effective democracy can be under these circumstances. Not that I see alternative systems, nor would I exclude other western states from this criticism.
See, it's political satire like that that makes election years worth it. With all the propaganda, dirt-digging, and seething hatred between Dems and Reps, things like that need to be around for people to laugh at.

Yeah, and that's what I was criticizing him for.
