I don't see why Testie shouldn't go... it will surely be an amazing experience, regardless of how his actual SC career goes... having all expenses paid and living in Korea is a pretty attractive thing for anyone (unless you don't like to experience new things). And on top of that, he'll be earning some kind of a salary, meeting new people, and playing the game he loves professionally, improving his skill much much more than it already is, with the possibility of making even MORE money if he succeeds. Hell, I'd do it if I were that good, just for the experience if nothing else. | ||

Well, ideally, he will go to Korea and leave the East-ish persona back home in Canada. If he goes, hopefully he will truly feel ready to dedicate himself to this and he will do it for the right reasons, leaving behind no regrets. And you nay-sayers... what are you idiots spouting? Testie is one of the most competant players outside of Korea and he understands this game at a progamer level and has the mechanical skills to back it up. And SC is dead/dying? Uhh... the progamer scene is STILL growing and I also recall similar comments being made when WC 3 came out. New flash: unless SC 2 is actually a better game, it won\'t damage the SC community nearly as bad in Korea as out of Korea (us foreigners are more trendy and by and large less dedicated). | ||
