Well I'll just write down some facts:

1. Yes, this is the 2nd time CJ has invited me to their team.
2. I cannot really say more until I have officially e-mailed them and seen what they are offering.
Social Justice is a fools errand. May all the adherents at its church be thwarted. Of all the religions I have come across, it is by far the most detestable.

I doubt Testie will stay in Korea for more than 9 months. It's not because of him, I don't know how disciplined he can follow a training routine and how strong he is mentally to stay focused. I just think he cannot live in Korea. It will be another world for him, he will feel that way every single day. It may cause him to question his decision again and again. Sooner or later he will ask himself what he's doing in Korea when he could have a good life somewhere else.
He will most likely lose his aim after some time - feeling that he's walking in circles - and then he won't play SC with heart anymore. That will be his return to normal life, back home, finding a job, etc. Or in the worst case he will become another poker-freak...

Everyone needs something where he can go back to at any moment in his life.
I highly doubt Testie can break the rules of life, no matter how hard he tries.

you should probably shut the fuck up until you spend a year living with people you can barely talk to playing a computer game for 14 hours a day.

Draco isn't a quitter, he had a whole lot of heart and a big dream. You just cannot judge until you are in his shoes.

He's an amazing guy and shouldn't be looked down upon when he has so many great traits about his character.

Living life like Draco does is something few people do, and it takes strength and courage to live like him. He always has my utmost respect.

yep he went to korea and tried something that what... 10 non koreans total have tried? he realized he didnt like it/couldnt make it and left. its not like its an easy thing to do and he had no obligation to do it, no need to mock him for leaving.
and excuses or not, thats true. theres not real money in it except for the top players and sc2 almost definetly will kill bw.

i think sc2 will maybe kill non-korean tournaments but it doesn't sound like the koreans are all that interested in sc2... so progaming will probably not even notice..

way too much empty speculation going on here.

testie, i hope you do decide to go -- no matter how crazy it might seem on the surface to your family or you.

Testie is arrogant and overrates himself , but he is no fool :
He played the game for so long. He isnt any more gifted than others.. ( of course he partly is.. ) but in the end.. he knows he couldnt do well over there. Im sure he will not go..
but we will see

Why Testie? I love the guy too but after his performance at WCG 08 I'm kind of disappointed.

You can see the future? O_O

It would certainly be an awesome experience. You get to see an interesting part of the world and become embroiled in their culture. A lot of people would kill to travel and live in different parts of the world for a time being and expand their horizons. Not only that, you get to play STARCRAFT. PROFESSIONALLY. And make the mad moneys. I hope you do it and best of luck. If anything you will have awesome stories to tell of how when you were younger you lived in a different country and played video games for an official team.

You don't make mad moneys, sorry, unless you actually get on the A squad and win tourneys and televised games.
