I've been to computer programing camps in the past, basically what you did was you learned how to program (C++, Visual basic, etc.) played computer games a couple hours a day, and went outside for like 1 hour a day. This was a DAY camp, NOT overnight and this was ranging in the 500+ dollars. The camp did NOT cover any food (unless u paid to go ovrnight) and it did not have a T.V. with fucking OGN vods playing. Nor did it have a tournament at the end where you have a chance to win 1/3 of your money back... I personally think this is a great IDEA, and if it was a little more structered, and if I had 750 to spend I would definitly do it. Jesus christ people, listion to yourselves. Edit: The only suggestion I have is maybe making some sort of scholorship avalable, because most anything expensive thing these days (college, camp, etc.) has scholorships available. Dude.. I could go to camp woodward witch is a huge famous skateboarding camp for like 750 for a couple weeks.. And the best part about that is everything is payed for food and stuf flike that, they have a pool, moto cross track, lots of skateboarding park things, and other stuff like this. I think this is much more worth it than going to a fucken Starcraft camp.. Oh yea and pro skaters and stuff go there... So erm.. Yea | ||

If you want to go to a skateboarding camp over a starcraft camp then starcraft obviously isn't your "passion". This camp is directed towards people who's "passion" is starcraft. Could u losers get any gayer -_- i mean damN!, cant u see these guys are trying to use they're skills to GIVE BACK to the fucking communnity? but i guess thats a bit too hard to understand for some of us gamers no? Not really considered giving back when you are making 6,000$ just for letting some BW players live with you so you can teach them how to play. To me, sounds like whichever 8 players actually do go... they'll just be considered inferior losers hanging onto every word that comes from their mouth, and the only reason they'd be getting any attention is becuz they forked over 750$. But Demonic this sounds like its right up your alley, hopefully u've already signed up and now are just marking off the days on your calender. GL to you sir, i hope you get your money's worth. | ||

after i read through this may be the best topic here of july i think for a while... u guys all know OLYMPUS OGN final this sunday ya..and IF i want to get a ticket to be in live how much money should i spend? instead of the so-called best genius "sc camp" ShangHai<-->Seoul the biair-ticket in this season costs 200$ a normal tour-visa cost few days and less than 50$(or so) if i spend one night in Seoul(july 13rd) food and hostel cost no more than 200$ and i can get a free ticket to see the live final(hahaha) if fortunately meet wax??(hoho..) or get a signature of yellow and a hot photo with xellos? btw my friend working in seoul who is chinese he has booked to have a short interview with boxer after the OGN final ceremony AND the interview question-list is written by me(hahaha) think!how fantastic the "SC weekend" is!no more than 500$ | ||

And ilnp, not everyone here hates you thanks for the complement about being good manner, the only reason I said anything about that is for the point that you can actually meet pros there and you can learn with them for like 2 weeks.. for the same amount as going to the sc camp and not playing with pros... well.. I know i'm not that good at sc.. cause I quit 3 months ago but still I don't think either of those players are "pro" in my book.. but yes I don't have a passion for the game because it fucked up my social life :-/ | ||

When you rent a 10 person Lodge and have 10 computers, 10 Starcraft Cd's, 10 Beds, on top of that your spending the WHOLE WEEK teaching 8 kids how to play a fucking game..., and all u ask for is 750 dollars per person I consider that fucking GIVING BACK to the community. And yes... using ones skills to benefit himself is right up my alley and it should be up yours too.. but wait... you have no skills to make money off of? in that case u can keep HATING on this camp. I guess i cant hold it against u, not everyone can take the time out to learn something and use it to their own advantage like ILNP and Rek are trying to do here. | ||
