I do not think this is a joke at all. I think it's going to be played off as a joke to allow the few serious applicants to participate with a minimum of ridicule. Ilnp's post was very well thought out and this is totally within his means. He's declared himself a "pro-gamer" by occupation - this is in line with that. We know he's buying a house (he bragged about it). We know he's got money (he brags about that). It's cheap enough to get Starcraft capable machines together (used p200s or even less would do) and this all hinges on his WDTour win as a means of gaining credibility as a gosu player.

It all makes sense to me.
