If you are new here, you may not know this. But every once in a while we at TeamLiquid get the chance to talk to a progamer. It happened with Boxer ...
Because this site is by the people and for the people I have always opened the forum and allowed YOU, the reader to post a question you would like asked. Not everyone is selected, but in the end we get much more than simply the questions of one. We get a TeamLiquid interview.
So, here is your chance. If you would like to ask Mae Jae Yoon aka sAviOr aka the greatest player in the game today a question, post it here. Your question may be chosen in an upcoming interview. Other interviews by TeamLiquid...
In zvt, after your mutalisks have come out and you are trying to lurker switch, what are you thinking at this point. Do you consciously save larvas so you have minerals to expo with, build hydras with and save supply count for lurkers? Or do you get the most drones you can.
do great results come through constant intense practice or he has reached a level that he can be confident with little practice beforehand?
when does he plan to retire and what does he want to do with his life after progaming?
he seems very strong mentally during official games, does he ever lose his temper during practice? and if yes, what is the worst thing he has done after getting mad while playing?
1. You have a reputation as a clutch player. What sort of events in your life do you believe built up your confidence so that you could always succeed under the most pressure?
2. How many more OSLs do you plan to win?
3. The Guardian build vs Midas on HitchHiker, did you purposely not use that during the group stage of the OSL? Or did you invent that build right before game 3?
4. Do you believe your teammate, IriS, would have defeated NaDa in the finals had he prevailed in game 5 against you?
having to go through 2 intense ZvT's during semifinals in both leagues, did he save some of his best builds for the osl finals vs Nada or he tried to find find new better ones after advancing (or used the same?o_O) ?
2) How much does he know of the foreign community ? Is he interested in it (or much like "was he ever interested in it" because I don't think he has much time for it these days)
Do you think there is an OGN curse and how it will psychologically affect your upcoming games in next Starleague if the answer is yes to the first one? You said prior to this OGN that you like facing stronger Terran opponents and that you would have liked to be in group with Nada and oov. Considering that statement and the 'curse', who is going to be your pick for next OSL? Is it going to be P (curse-wise easier to pass the group considering your winning % in ZvP) or T (further confirming that you rule ZvT)? If T, who will it be?
1) Did you start with zerg or another race ? If other race, why did you switch to zerg?
2) In some article, your teammate said you never lose when you got terran as random in team game, how would you rate your skill with terran ? And how good you are with protoss ?
What do you feel is seperating you right now from all the other players? Is it your cool under pressure or do you simply have more talent for the game than anyone at the moment? Do you have any ideas about an occupation when your progaming career is over? And do you prepare set builds for most or all televised games? or do you sometimes go on intuition and feeling against opponets and go with those?
Arrg so many game related questions. I'll try some personal ones. 1) How do you spend you'r free time? 2) What type of girls do you like? cute or sexy? 3) Do you have a girlfriend? If no; why not? you are a cool guy.
More like these maybe and we could get some funny answers
You have been in very difficult position in game five vs Iris, what thoughts were crossing your mind? Did you ever think you will lose? You seem to have unbreakable spirit
Since you have won many tournaments (3 msl one ogn being the most meaningful), do you still have hunger for battle like the very first day? What is your next goal?
Do you think you lifted SC to another level in terms of strategy and skill?
Who do you consider to be your rival, is there such person?
omg sweet TL interview wit hsavior1!?!? oMG. TL rocks. i cant think of any questions im so bad at this shit "why are j00 such f*Cking pwnage"" ?!?!? ;x
ignore me, i just can't wait for this interview to happen!
how do you manage your defilers so well? are there any rules you use e.g 'always keep defiler on full energy with consume'
what is the best way to train for starcraft skill (with regards to zerg)? self-discipline in in your battlenet profile... how do you apply self-discipline to improve your game?
1. When you play, do you think about your fans? Do you try to give them something new or exciting, or are you more intent on winning through solid gameplay?(i know the obvious answer is the ladder, but i'd like to see what he says)
Its so awsome if u get to interview him. There's something good in Tl.net EVERY day!
Which map is the most balanced? What's his routine for "Analyzing a Map" as he said in one interview. His thoughts on the future of progaming. Before his progaming days, was there any good foreign on bnet he played with? In the future if he will decide to retire what is he thinking of doing? He said that vs Bifrost he heard the crowd screaming 5 pool while he played. Does he think the player's booth should be changed? Is he on speaking terms with Iris after game 5
I would tell him that Hitler pose was really offensive and that he shouldn't agree to do such thing next time.
sAviOr: Your use of hive tech support-- particularly defiler and the nydus canal-- is unparalleled. Have you considered developing use of lair tech support (queens) and adding that to your repertoir? Do you think queens have enough value to justify their cost in a tournament atmosphere, or are queens best reserved as a tool to embarrass your opponent?
We've recently seen you use 9pools (RLT, Longinus 2, Neo Arkanoid), doom drops (RLT vs midas) and even a 5pool (RLT?-- I'm not sure, can someone verify this for me) versus your opponents departing a bit from your more macro style (3hatch) play. Is this an strategic effort to abuse your opponents' assumptions about your play; are you planning on "cheesing" more to excite your fans; or did you decide to use these strategies because the maps themselves seem to demand it in order to secure victory?
You've been blinking heavily during recent televised matches. Do you attribute this to lack of sleep, or is your vision becoming impaired?
What activities/hobbies do you persue in your freetime?
Boxers (no pun intended) or briefs?
Hope some of these questions are picked (except the boxers or briefs one... that's a joke.)
I'd like to see the one about the hitler thing too... maybe he doesnt realize it but it should be ok to mention it and tell him its not normal i guess... id like to see how he responded to it... and it shouldnt be a pure suckup interview anyway

I like this question a lot so I would like to vote for it. Although the interview should be mostly about himself and the way he deals with the pressures of progaming and being at the top of it, I really really would love some strategic Qs to pick his mind and learn from.
1. People claim that once your Defilers are out, the game is over. What makes your Defilers so devastating against your opponents. What's your strategy on Defiler usage that separates you from other Zerg progamers?
2. Before you, for the past years, it has always been Terran players that dominate the progaming scene. Do you think Terran is stronger than other races (Zerg especially), and if so, how did you overcome this small imperfection of the game?
I'm korean.. I cannot English well and it is sorry some hate Savoir because of his nicname-Hitler With this interview, I'd like to make sure this nicname is not the bad intention. and this nicname is fading in korea (we hate Hitler of course)

Actually I'm a huge fan, but after seeing that pic I tried to find out whether it's real and was quite literally shocked.
It's a joke for christ's sake, people call him Hitler so he poses like that in a picture. So what?
You're probably not even jewish or any other race that should feel offended by this. You're probably just as shallow as everyone else who makes a big deal out of something completely insignificant that celebrities do.
To anyone else bitching about this photo: have you never said anything racist or sexist or homophobic, etc. as a joke? You probably have, and it's no different from Savior posing in this picture.
1. do you think you will get "OSL Curse" in your next OSL
2. how long do you think you will dominate MSL for haha
3. do you think protoss players will ever dominate - _-a and if not, what reasons for this. (i dont think any of the progamers will ever admit to imbalance though..right? o.O)
1. Does he exercise different aspects of the game seperately (ums or other exercises) or does he just play many games? 2.Which players he enjoys watching (and playing)? 3.Does he still enjoy the game itself after making it his profession? 4.How often does he get to see his family? 5.What was their oppinion (past and present) on his choice of profession? 6.Mental tip(s) to the amateur SC player.
So he made a heil hitler pose, big deal. It's not like he said jews and blacks should die, come on. There's a pinch of humor in it, but you have to chillax to see it.
I'll think of a question and post later if it's any good.
haha you people should know by now that craft must be stolen ; it can't be teached question : how can you enjoy every match you play after so many games played? you treat every match as something between you and your enemy , gamer vs gamer , mind vs mind with zerg being your weapon of choise. The pleasure comes from the fact that you make the games so personal? (something amongst those lines)
1 - How can you get a so really good mental ? You look like a guy who play a friendly game on west during the OSL final. Are you really calm or do you fear (just a little) in your mind ?
2 - What is the Queen utility in game 3 against NaDa ? Humiliation to put pressure on NaDa and irritate him for the fourth game or tactic who prepared before the game ?
my question: how will you motivate youtself to stay on top now that you conquered both leagues? and second, any thoughts as to how long you will keep going as a progamer?

im not evne big into pro gaming, but id like to ask him, whats it like beating people that for years have been top gamers? not just beating, but crushing them? all the guys hes beaten are people that were idolized for years (nada, ra, etc) and he makes it look like hes playing a bunch of chobos.

July already admitted that, at pro level, ZvP is not so difficult.
Since you are supposedly godlike with terran also; what do you think what's the best way to go for terrans now that zergs are starting to beat the fast expo strategies?
Great interview though, can't wait. I'm a huge Boxer/Savior fan and the first interview totally exited me so hell this is going to be awsome. Gratz to the one who can go out and have the interview =].
1) How much of your winning is psychological? Generally, how much do you operate with imprecise "logic", guessing and manipulating your opponent's decisions rather than resorting to simple "if I see that, do that" formal logic rules?
2) Do you think that some match-ups are impossible to win with a deterministical approach considering perfect mechanics on both sides? How does indeterministical approach fit into racial balance? Is it a sidekick feature (coined by the term "cheese") or a necessary skill for every progamer?
3) Summarizing two previous questions, how much random is your play? Is it all-deterministic (unlikely =)) or, if you're using seemingly random play, do you have a deterministic system of applying it, much like statistics give deterministic output based on random input?

I'm not sure where the idea that calling someone a string of curses means your argument is right. I might've agreed with your point if you actually typed it out without the whole need for so much name calling.
This is whole thing overhyped as hell and apparently people don't recognize skits about Hitler and the hand sign has been done REPEATEDLY in Western comedy. Asking a celebrity a bothersome question just because some random emo nobodies got offended is not a good pattern to get later interviews.
I'd like to ask what does he think is the reason that Protoss struggles so much in PvZ?
Well, looks like the hitler thing is a hot-button issue, so there should probably be a question or two dedicated to it. I'll try to form one as a service to the interviewer:
In the west (USA, Canada, Europe) Hitler's rise to power, WWII, and his Haulocaust left a deep scar on history. To make jokes about Hitler and Nazi Germany isn't unheard of, but it's usually done to disarm the horrors for which Hitler was responsible. To present yourself, or allow yourself to be characterized as Starcraft's personification of Hitler has alienated you from some of the more sensitive foriegner Starcraft fans. How do you feel about this reaction from foriegner fans? Do you feel you have a responsibility to help present a positive image of e-sports' to westerners, and if so, is there anything you can do to discourage comparisons between you and Hitler? Would you even want to discourage the comparisons?
1. You have expressed many times that the maps Longinus 2 and Reverse Temple are difficult. Yet your results on these particular maps are outstanding. In the past 3 ZvT's you had in MSL and OSL, you are 4-0 on Longinus 2, and 2-1 on Reverse Temple. What is your opinion of these results? How do you overcome such obstacles?
2. It has been said that your Terran is as good as your zerg... if not, better. Have you ever considered changing races? If you were Terran do you think you would be able to play as well as you are right now as zerg, or more? How about Protoss?
3. You have beaten almost every great Zerg-killer Terran users in a best of 5 match (Oov, Midas, BoxeR, NaDa, Hwasin). Is there anyone you wish to face in particular in a bo5, perhaps at another final?
4. Many people still wish to see you battle Casy, who has excellent TvZ and about the only who still has a chance to defeat your ZvT. You may get your chance in the Shinhan Masters Tournament. What is your opinion on that? Do you wish to battle him? Do you think you would be able to win?

As I understand it, one of the controversies is that neither Germany government nor the Japanese government are open to making amends. I know almost for certain that they definitely do not provide as much education on the matter as say our textbooks do in the US. Note, this isn't a strike against the German people, I think many Germans themselves know what happened but it definitely isn't because of the efforts of their country.
Starcraft is quite a few years old now. Do you still see Starcraft as a major part of progaming in the next few years? Or, do you see it being replaced or overshadowed by another game?
Where do you see progaming in the next few years?
Do you play any other games? If so, what are they?
Some people referred to Savior as Matler (Hitler + Ma Je Yoon) on the internet but it soon died out since even Koreans thought it was wrong. Savior probably only posed like that because he was asked to by the photographer. In addition, Koreans aren't that sensitive to Hitler and the holocaust primarily due to the fact that World History isn't explored deeply in schools.
I understand its very wrong, and plain stupid to pose as Hitler, and Savior did wrong for sure. But please don't ruin this thread with debates over how bad Hitler was or whether one should be offended by Savior's picture or not. Its just plain fucking ignorant to say no one should be offended because he was "joking." Again, this is an interview thread so please don't ruin it with off topic dumbass remarks.
Ask him, if he ever *should* come to the conclusion that zerg is stronger then the other races, would he make his oppinion public, make suggestions to "fix" it, maybe even switch race .. or not? This could be seen as arrogant, it could lessen his fame (cause it *would* be partly based on imbalance) but it could make the game better.
This is an imaginative question and shall not be taken as biased, just *imagine* he keeps on winning everthing and comes to this conclusion?
since he already pretty much dominates as a zerg player, would he consider becoming a t user, since its already pretty nasty? as a form of a new challenge?

1) You seem to be a fan of playing psychological games (i.e cracking neck after beating Jju, infesting nada's CC). How much of an effect do you believe this has on your opponents
1. Do you happen to practice ZvP less than any other matchup since you're so disgustingly good at it?
2. Why do you look so mind-numbingly bored after winning 95% of all your games, not even bothering to feign relief. Is this part of your 'psychological mind games'?

1 - What's the feeling of knowing that even foreigners watch your games and get happy when you win?
2 - The feeling that we have is that the longer the game lasts the more certain your victory seems to be. Is that how you feel when you are playing? That in the long run (inside the game) your skills you prevail over your opponent?
I don't really like his style but he certainly is an awe inspiring player..
Hm yeah, ask him who his inspirations were when starting out, how he does vs xellos in practice (if it's ok), if there's any player he has particular trouble against.
And of course, his feelings about the MSL final I guess.
Hope no one mentioned all of these already, cause eh, 5 pages, not going to read them all!
Also, didn't the hitler picture originate from some fan photoshop with him as hitler, so I guess he saw it and decided to play along?
Questions 3 and 4 may be bad to ask due to if he answers wrongly, he may be given some backlash & create problems for him with would-be or already fans that we don't want.
1. Could you take about 2-3 hours of one of your days to showmatch (brutally destroy) our resident Testie in a BO5 in some hamachi setting games for TeamLiquid?
(Aye, I know that's not a very manner question. But I had to try to get it in there. The thought of Savior playing a showmatch for TL is too good to be true.) But it's completely understandable why you wouldn't want to ask him this question & I do am not looking for an inflammatory response.
2. In your last interview you said you would not get complacent or arrogant after your OSL win. This is just a check-up. You are not getting lazy and practicing less than usual, right?
3. iloveoov told one of our residents that all top progamers were the same skill now. Do you feel this way also? Or do you think there are still some differences between Starleague caliber players and the players just out of reach of Starleagues?
(Not sure if this is ok to mention due to the circumstances of Nada losing his father?) (Also, it lacks tact and could be better worded with correct information and time estimates about how long Nada and Nal_ra were out of starleagues for.) 4. Perhaps the best protoss in the world Nal_ra, and the best terran in the world Nada were away from Starleagues for a very long time after falling to ODT *I think right?*. How hard is it to climb back into Starleague after being pushed down to these ranks? Do you fear that if you were to fall to ODT you would not be seen in a Starleague for another year or so due to the very stiff level of competition?

By heavily blinking, I mean there's been some shots of him holding his eyes shut for 2 seconds at a time during the beginning of games. As though his vision were blurry or his eyes were stinging.
1. Why did you choose zerg for your main race? 2. How long do you feel starcraft progaming will remain to be strong in Korea? Will it expand to other countries, an international scene? 3. Which progamers do you admire? If you could choose the one you admired most, who would it be, and why?
Do you believe that you are/are going to be an agent of change for the way BW is played? All of the other dominant players have caused a noticable change in the play of others, be it Boxer's brining micro to the forefront, or Nada's display of multitasking with punishing harass while macroing, or oov's insane defense and macro, or July's aggressiveness. Do you believe that your play will trigger a shift toward more efficient builds and better timing?
. Do you think your style is morphable to the other races or do you think it only possible because you play zerg? We hear you're very good at terran, is your style with them similar or does it require major changes?

I'll answer it for you.
Progamers get bitches, and their status as progamer does help a bit especially if they are on TV, but not much at all. Though, the vast majority of the time the bitches the progamers get are fairly busted.
Man, I was sooo hoping before one of the games of saviors ogn finals he was going to turn around when the OGN "ARE YOU READY?" girl was in his box and 작업 her and get her number or something.
Compared to the USA, Korea really cares about brotherhood. Whether it be a hyeong or namdonsaeng, guys really know their place among other guys. At the CJ house, who's the top hyeong? 1) Have you considered switching race, since we hear your terran is very strong.
2) Do you and other progamer often become frustrated with some of the maps showing tendencies of imbalance, or do you simply "suck it up", grumble in private and move on?

Retarded question. Can you picture an 80-year old progamer -_-

Regular blinking is better for your eyes than not blinking when you spend a lot of time infront of a monitor.
By heavily blinking, I mean there's been some shots of him holding his eyes shut for 2 seconds at a time during the beginning of games. As though his vision were blurry or his eyes were stinging.
It's a fact that you blink less sitting in front of a computer than normal. It's just a reaction to it. Your eyes become red and dry or watery.
Other things:
Also, he got he picked savior as a nick cause he wanted a "real one" (ipxzerg?!?!?!) and thought it sounded good.
The hitler thing is netiher offensive nor funny. Just tell the koreans fans that they're lame.
yawn rape was not intentional, he was simply yawned. (he didn't even recall the situation, a game vs zeus I believe.)
I saw some other questions already asked and answered as well...

culturas differences can be...big...perhaps it doesn't mean the same thing there. it's like saying good morning to french or w.e...cuz they don't have "good morning" in their language, while we find it normal to say it, they don't.
if u knew a lil' bout history u'd know that salute is from times when roman empire ruled the world. it's a pitty hitler destroyed that salute as well as that budhist(think it's budhist, not sure, nvm)symbol he simply reversed and called his own.
as for the questions...i don't think it's appropriate to ask savior questions like "why you do gas before this and sometimes after that" cuz he probably ain't gonna tell it-if they felt comfortable with sharing their knowledge then they wouldn't hide replays of their games from the rest of the world.
my question would be: You've perfected your zerg style, but do you think that it's still not the maximum a player can draw from such versatile race?
After successfully taking down OSL, and with a high probability of taking down MSL. What new goals and ambitions are you looking at, to keep you interested in the game, and the world of pro gaming. Especially after 3-1ing the most successful player to date, in the most prestigious tournament.
To everyone asking about his knowledge of the foreign scene, who he thinks is the best foreigner, etc.: he won't really have anything interesting to say about this. He will probably name a couple of foreigners he's heard of, but at best he'll only know their races. He won't know at all who's good, what they are known for, what they've done, etc. Maybe asking him about foreigners in general or about Draco or something could be worthwhile, but things like "Who's the best foreigner" or "How much do you keep track of the foreign scene?" will result in disappointing one line answers with lots of smileys etc.
I hear that your T is actually quite incredible. How good exactly are your T/P skills? Since you have such a good understanding of the game, do you think Z is better?
Are you religious (given your screenname is a reference to Jesus)? If so, how do you feel about being portrayed as the evil side in a "holy war"?
Didn't read through all the 8 pages I hope no one thought of these ones.
1. Why do you prefer to use a Fast tech/Hive/Tier 3 fast and open with mutas first over other more general zerg openings/play styles?
2. Why Change your name from IPXzerg to Savior?
3. Did Nostradamus predict you as the 3rd and final anti-christ? A doubtful man shall not come far from the reign
The greatest part will uphold him
A capital will not consent that he should reign.
His great chair he shall not be able to maintain.
Ma-bus then will soon die, there will come A horrible slaughter of people and animals: At once vengeance is revealed coming from a hundred hands, Blood, thirst and hunger when the comet will run.
1. You have enough confidence in your reaction ability to do be very daring in the timing of your builds. Consequently, only a player with enough confidence in their own execution ability is decisive enough to exploit your momentary weakness. Do you think that at very high levels, StarCraft has evolved, similar to martial arts, into a battle of willpower? What are the thoughts of a master in psychological warfare?
2. Your unparalleled level of in-game awareness allows you to achieve better control of the pace of the game. This, in turn, allows you to be more insightful as to how the game will play out. Do you think this theory of a cyclical nature between awareness and control holds water? Would you reveal a more accurate theory?
3. Many successful pros have foreseen their own styles being realized and have expected their own fall from the top. There is a theory on our website that you are somewhat of an exception in that your style is more abstract and harder to identify than those of the past. Yet another theory considers that you did not innovate a specific style yourself, as did utterly master all parts of controlling the zerg race. Your thoughts on the essence and future of your style?
4. As we understand it, your stone-faced demeanor and unbridled self confidence is viewed almost as arrogance in Korea. However, this, as well as the non-conformism you display from all the other "nice-guy" pros resounds with western culture. You are seen as something of a "badass" and we love it. But I have seen you laugh, and must admit it also seems very natural. So which is it? Are you just putting on an image or are you really that hardcore?
(No matter how he responds to this fourth one, say "I thought so")

1) What do you think about the controversy surrounding KESPA/Proleague and the broadcast channels. Do you think it will affect bw professionally?
2) Do you know much about the foreign community that follows korean progaming (i.e Tl or GG). If not, would you like to see progaming broadcast with commentators in other languages (i.e english) to reach a larger audience

1) If you had to pick 1 progamer past or present for each race (Zerg, Terran, Protoss) that you respect the most, who would they be and why?
2) You are pretty much known as a balance breaker, being able to play evenly on maps where Zerg often is said to have a disadvantage. What do you feel is the primary trait that sets you apart from the rest of the Zerg players and how has this led you to succeed on maps where many other Zerg players have failed?
3) Of all of the players that have dominated the game in their respective times, it seems that you have drawn the most criticism and hate. Why do you think this is and are you ever bothered by it?
4) What was the reason you infested NaDa's command center?
5) What has been the most challenging part of your experience as a pro-gamer?
6) What do you feel about the future of Starcraft? How much longer do you feel it will last on the level it is right now?
7) Do you have any plans to pursuit other games beyond Starcraft in the case that it finally disappears as a major e-sport? If not, what are your retirement plans or how do you plan to make a living?
8) Is there any one particular pro-gamer that has had the greatest influence on your gaming style? If so, who was it and what influence did he have?
9) Do you think it is possible for a player to attain the Diamond Mouse?
10) Starcraft has been out for nearly a decade now. We've come to a point where most people are admitting that there's very little room for innovation and there really aren't too many new things that players can do that haven't already been done before. What do you feel is the best way that Starcraft as a game can be revitalized?
11) Do you believe that it will be possible one day for gaming leagues as big and famous as the Starleagues to exist in other regions such as the United States, China, or EU? Or has the success of the gaming league been a product of Korea's unique culture?
12) Who do you feel the strongest Protoss player is today?
13) How do you analyze various timings on specific maps? For instance, a map like Arkanoid when it was first introduced was a very strange concept and it's obvious that the builds for it are very different from something along the lines of Nostalgia or Luna. How would you discover the best build order, strategy, and timing on a completely new type of map?
14) Of there is one pro-gamer that you can say that you hate the most, who would it be and why?
8 overlord used to be the standard back in the day. It simply switched to 9 overlord. 8 supply also was the common build until people started using 9 supply.
I have no time to read the whole thread right now, sorry if those questions have been posted before. Very, very tired, I hope this makes sense.
All the progamers always emphasize on how important it is to practice day and night. But... how exactly do you practice? Is it mostly mass gaming, or do you spend time analyzing maps a lot? Is most time spent in developping build orders? For an OSL game, how much of the game and in how much detail is the game planned after the initial bo? Do you get other Zergs' input?
You gonna play in the TL ladder bro?
Meh, I really have to go sleep, I might add some more tomorrow.^^

Maybe if you send one drone of the first 9 instead of first 8 to scout, you'll be faster. *shrugs* I dunno. Did the extensive test take that into account as well, since we know savior almost always scouts with a drone.
What do you know about the foreign community (players, sites, communities, anything) and do you think that progamers should care at all about foreigners? Is it up to the foreign community to seek out the proleagues and interviews with the progamers, or should the progamers be more aware of the foreign community?

Getting the drone 50 minerals faster means a few more minerals in your belt in the beginning I would think. Plus as long as your 3 larvae macro isn't affected, its easier to go to 9 drones. Of course I never knew this at all, thx
How do you explain how you bursted into the progaming scene in 2006? What motivated you to pick Zerg; What did you play beforehand? Is there anyone that motivated you to play your style of Zerg(often macro intensive, compared to a ton of other micro-oriented zergs such as JulyZerg and Yellow) How do you feel about your depiction as the antagonist, and as `Hitler?`
Some of these questions might have been asked already...
The Savior/Zerg combo is greater than all others out there right now. So which is it? Is zerg greater than the other races or are you that much greater than the other players?

For protoss Song Byung-gu (stork), for Zerg Ma Jae-yoon (saviOr), and for Terran (and this is to encourage him to make more of an effort), Yum Bo-sung (Sea[Shield])"
Also one more... Does he believe he has the power to break BW? He has afterall, broken a 5 year paradigm since Boxer and Nada etc of Terran being the race.

so doing well in any field requires the same things of people. there are the same themes like hard work, discipline, believing in a purpose, having great intuition, having good moral support and things like that. for savior, what are the things that you believe are most important for life and greatness, both in the context of becoming a great broodwar player, and anything else.
What are the 5 most important things to you that contributed to your greatness?
1) Your ZvP is amazing and you have made the matchup ZvP look imbalanced. Can the Protoss race itself succeed in victory over the Zerg? If yes, what would you say to the Protoss users out there?
1) If you could give 1 tip to Starcraft players everywhere what would it be? Besides the generic try harder, practice, etc. 2) If you could give 1 tip for each race what would it be? (Maybe just Z and T since we know he plays those)
I'm curious what kind of tip he would give to players beyond the usual "practice more" etc.

Do you listen to any music? Who are your favorite artists?
How does it feel with Papa Bear (fOru) gone? Was he like the hyeong who take care of all of you guys?
Did XellOs let you take this interview?
From a WCG interview a whiles back, fOru said he really didn't like practicing with Midas back when he was on the SUMA Go team because Midas would get really mad after practice losses. Is there anyone else like that on your team?
Who's the most laid back on your team? Who's the most uptight?
GoRush once said that he respects XellOs for his "night work", was he referring to DDR?
Why don't all progamers shake hands after a match? I've seen ChOJJa do it and I think its a really honorable practice. Do you guys think gg is good mannered enough after a game is over? I think it would be really sweet if after a hard fought game, both the progamers stand up and meet in the middle and shake hands.
After such a long period of dominence, do you feel burned out? Many gamers claim that players can only succeed in streaks of brillience, or only while they are young, while others like Boxer have shown that a live time career in gaming is certainly possible.
Personally, do you feel like gaming is a career that you will pursue into the future, or do you feel that you will only be able to carry on for a short amount of time?
PS this is awesome Mani. Really looking forward to the interview. I love the fact that TL has hook ups like this.
What made you decide to pursue progaming instead of going to college?
What was the situation when you first switched from being a normal highschooler to a progamer? How was your path from average Korean teenager to top Starcrafter in world?
I don't have the time to read through all the replies as I have work soon, but hopefully no one else thought of this, as I want to feel smart for thinking of this question first:
"Have you studied military theory and strategy outside the realm of StarCraft? Examples of such would be Sun Tzu's art of war or the campaigns of Napoleon. The strategic and tactical advances you've brought to StarCraft can be compared to the outlook both men shared on warfare. Most notable is the fact that your standard ZvT Muta build and how you branch from it is always based around giving you the maximum amount of offensive and defensive options availible, as opposed to commmitting to either."
The last part might not make sense without a direct comparison to an offensive player (JulyZerg) or a defensive one (Iloveoov maybe?)
Just in general I don't mind if you reword this. I literally have to leave my computer as I'm typing this so I'm obviously a bit rushed and the way I wrote it might not be optimal.
So how's the interview coming along? :D I'm really looking forward to read it >.> Anyone knows if there's any news on FiFo or anything about it yet? :D
