Big random place for discussions, let's go.
No cute pics by shiroiusagi even if she's amazing, no VODs.
This is going to be glorious.

I guess, we can have polls, ban/picks are pretty useless because half of ET is on 4.19 and offline part will be on preseason patch with new jungle, so we'll see.

Anyway, for those who heard first time about ET after reading headline:

http://lol.gamepedia.com/Riot_League_Championship_Series/North_America/2015_Season/Spring_Split/Expansion_Tournament

I personally think that 2 weeks are a bit short to make players do a new patch.
In general there is nothing to say against teams/players have to adapt to an new environment.
Like in formula one they often make new rules aka you have to take new tires. The difference is in formula one teams get enough time to complete the direction they go. It's hard to say a minimun preperation time but I would say minimun a month for this kind of patch.

Probably most hyped amateur jungler in NA, who was heavily rumoured to join CLG and bought tons of long swords in game where he was tilting as fuck.

It's not like Challenger scene is all about strategy, everyone is getting bodied in lanes usually, so we won't see a lot of new jungle in action most likely.

Then Kikis picked Yi, got bodied by k0u, Yi never was picked after it.

New jungle patch is from 3rd round onwards I think. Players have 3 weeks to prepare for it. I kind of like that they have to come up with stuff on their own now instead of just imitating other peoples strats.

Favorites for NA are Coast, CrsA, Fusion, Enemy, col Black. I dont think anyone outside of those will make it.

Confusion is out: https://twitter.com/ExecutionerKen/status/532354236860747776

Only games worth watching this weekend will probably be Fission VS LoLPro and Zenith VS Final Five. Fission is actually pretty decent, they often got like 10K gold leads on teams like Fusion and LoLPro in R5s but could never close and threw super hard, some upset potential there. Call and Noble Truth will get slaughtered.

LoLpro's roster has similar levels of talent as NME, their match vs coast is alongside fusion vs NME are definitely the highlights of the online round

Talentwise no doubt, its just that they looked pretty terrible in their recent games against good opponents. Maybe they improved, but I kind of doubt it since they had so much time already.

It killed all the hype of seeing teams get ddosd though

Games are pre-recorded.
Americans don't like to use unblockables, it is considered not honest. You press a button at the wrong time and hit the other person, you are random, not a top player. You DP Sim's far fierce, it is random and not honest.
