This Masters Cup is a double elimination style tournament for Starcraft 2, Heart of the Swarm. $100 prize on offer to the winner, $50 2nd prize, $30 3rd, $10 4th. $200 prize pool*! There is also a 500 Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship points up for grabs! (Points count towards qualifying for the $2000+ end of season tournament). In addition, the highest ranked Australian or New Zealand player will win a Saphira Mouse, thanks to Tt eSports! This event is sponsored by Eddie, Blizzard ANZ and sc2sea.com

- Upper Bracket bo3
- Lower bracket bo1 until 7/8th placing, where becomes bo3 (2nd last round before semi finals)

Bonus OSC points can be earned if:
Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 16: 5 OSC points
Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 17-32 ranked equal or higher then themselves: 2.5 OSC points
Anyone ranked 16th - 9th beats anyone ranked equal or higher then themselves: 2.5 OSC points
1st - 8th have no chance to earn bonus points

The first map of each round is pre-determined and outlined in the following list. The losing player will decide the subsequent map. The map pool is as follows:
Upper Bracket:
Ro128: Bel'shir Vestige (B03) (R1 on bracket)
Ro64: Frost (B03) (R2 on bracket)
Ro32: Yeonsu (B03) (R3 on bracket)
Ro16: Heavy Rain LE (B03) (R4 on bracket)
Ro8: Polar Night (B03) (R5 on bracket)
Semi-Finals: Star Station TE (B03)
Finals: Habitation Station LE (B03) - double chance for upper bracket player
Loser can pick from any the following maps:
Heavy Rain LE, Star Station TE, Bel'shir Vestige, Habitation Station LE, Frost, Yeonsu, Polar Night
* Players are allowed 1 veto each per round. The first game cannot be vetoed. Maps cannot be repeated twice in a series.
Lower Bracket:
Lower bracket is best of 1 until 7/8th placing, where becomes bo3 (2nd last round before semi finals).
Both players veto 3 maps each from the map pool, and play the remaining one.
Veto system will also be used for lower bracket Bo3 series.

Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series

Masters Cup is a partnered tournament of the Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series (OSC). OSC is the SEA regional championship, which follows a yearly season format, where players earn points for placing in all partnered tournaments. The top 32 players ranked via SEA Power Rankings / OSC Player Leader board at the end of the season are then invited to play in the Grand Finale to determine the yearly champion!
PiG was 2013's Champion, taking out the $2100 finals series.
