Why this request?
match fixing scandal is an issue that can only get older. Brood war pro scene is no more, is there anymore valuable reasons to not change? Since TL allowed article such as "Before the Fall" that could only increase the number of sAviOr's fans...
This is not just a zerg who is streaming fpvod, this is one of the most awesome brain fuckery you could ever watch, I mean mjy playing is just too educating to be denied period... Can we just move on and let brood war love lead the way, it is almost impossible to have a decent sAviOr stream for foreigners and I feel DEPRIVED.
Could you do something about it are we gonna stay in this middle age bs forever?

That should be more like Snipe's choice than the user's choice. I mean you don't vote for moderators or administrators. Besides, Afreeca is available for foreign viewers nowadays, it's not like you could watch it yourself or re-stream yourself if you want to. It'd be the better choice to ask whether or not TL.net allows some sort of thread asking for people who'd be interested in watching sAviOr on your stream, rather than trying to force your will on Snipe.
I don't know where you are getting at Gecko, snipealot doesn't stream sAviOr because TL doesn't allow it on its website, also I am not forcing anyone, this is a request as stated in the title.
Afreeca is available but ping is bad, it doesn't allow you to watch a stream without a permanent freeze , if you say so then you have never tried to watch savior's stream on Afreeca.
Please spend more time investigating before posting, having to argue with ignorance is annoying frankly.

well we first have to ask ourself this as a question to all of us, do we want the topic savior banned from teamliquid.net or not?
I do have very mixed feelings about forgiving him since he played a heavy role in the thing that was the cause of the downfall of broodwar. 'i am not worried about if he would cause dmg again or not, but rather if he met the consequences for hes actions. which i think he kinda did already by all the humilation.
sAviOr is not paying anything anymore if not some die hard antifan bashing him when they can. Right now it is US only US that are penalized from this ban.

How is this ignorance? Your post said 'the community' should vote on what snipe shows or not. As far as I know, Snipe is independent from TL, he could easily stream it on one of his channels and only put it visible elsewhere, e.g. Defiler. Makes me come to the solution he doesn't want to (I have never talked to him, or do I know him, pure assumption). That's his opinion, he does the work, hence he has to be asked, not TL. TL.net is not needed for a savior re-stream.
Furthermore, Afreeca does work for me, it's lagging on several channels, but not all. I know where you getting at, but it's not like Snipe was the only person ever to fluently re-stream Afreeca. Hence, try to look out for an alternative, the approach is not the most effective.
As for the topic 'Savior on TL' goes - ask the mods/Admins directly. Get their opinion first, see their pros and cons, try to take their side for a few minutes, then argue against it. I assume there's still plenty of people who won't want to watch savior at any rate, for all he's done, so the mods are the guys who have to face a shitstorm. Once you have the infos, go and make the thread again. So far it seems as you think everyone's (=in this case TL) still against him, your posts contains little to no pros as to why it should be allowed or not. At the end of the day, you have to convince the moderators more than the users. I for one would close this and link you to old decisions - based on the lack of structure. Bring in a bit more than just "time heals all wounds" and "savior used to be good and still is pretty nice to watch". At least write a few more sentences to convince people. Also, keep in mind that this is a very touchy subject. Several topics are most likely to be closed immediately - e.g. SCII vs. BW, because nothing productive comes around. So, even if you succeed and Snipe would show it and TL would be fine, there's still a high likelihood the entire chat would be full of insults. This makes me believe trying to promote a savior re-stream elsewhere might be the better solution for everyone. Having the info linked somewhere (stream desc. - Liquipedia - twitter, whatever) might be enough.

My personal opinion is that savior is a cunt who shouldn't be getting any more attention than he already is.
That said as some people have already pointed out I do this stream for TL, following TLs rules. Although I love viewers from all nations the stream was started as and is still primarily run as a TL community stream. Most of the mods have a connection to TL and the snipealot streams have become the 'official' restreams of sospa content. This issue has been raised over and over from what I can tell and has been shut down every time, but if for some reason TL decides to allow savior restreams on their website again I will not oppose restreaming him.
Aren't most of the zergs Snipe streams way better than Savior anyways? Not to say his stream doesn't have value, but given the choice of watching him or Killer/Hero, I wouldn't pick Savior.

This thread is directed to admins, it is public because we are all concerned, I am not a politician, I am not gonna use a dictionary to try to convince people, facts are simple, past can not be redone, weather TL move on weather they don't, there is no need to argue on why. Community will always be divided as you are the perfect example. It is about adding one more quality stream to the list, and so far this pool show that a majority is not against it. As for alternative solution? I have been looking for them, and if you find one please help us since you are trying to be "constructive".

The thing is, almost all bw foreign community is dependent from your stream when it comes to Afreeca. If I could by pass your stream permanently just to have a couple of hours of sAviOr's stream per week, I would. it kills me to be handicapped because of personal opinion while most of people would not be against watching mjy. I do not talk about past event, I am just talking about having one more quality stream to the list.
Thought it is nice to know that you would not oppose restreaming him if TL allows.
Snipe has already expressed that he is not opposed to restreaming Savior, despite his own opinion of Savior. The only reason he isn't is because it is against the rules of TL. Those rules obviously exist for a good reason, that reason is not that most people are opposed to him streaming (even if they might well be), it's because TL feels it has certain standards to uphold. Whether or not people want to see him stream does not affect those standards.
This really seems to be something that should be taken up with the TL higher ups, rather than just having random tlers chime in on whether or not THEY think he should be restreamed.
The afreeca scene has already showed some signs of match-fixing issues, so there might still be some space for people like him to 'operate'. With that in mind, I'm against the idea of supporting him in any way, including re-streams. If there was no scene left to make illegal bets on and he'd be still streaming BW for fun, it would be a different situation. As it is, all I wish for him is to stay away from this game as far as possible.
S2 confirmed in his des interview the match fixing played apart in destroying the bw scene in korea also he mention that because of it sponsors refuse to sponsor the scene and the pro gamers worry about their future after having things turn out like this and if this damn match fixing thing never existed the bw scene would have been stronger .
Everyone in the BW community bent over for savior in the scandal and people want to bend over for him again? So shameless.

I do not get why you're that angry at me for pointing out that you shouldn't try to force people to do things they don't want to do. As for the 'constructive' part: there was this BGVRT guy who apparently had no problems to re-stream some of the match fixers. I also remember several Afreeca restreams with savior on it about 2 years ago. Why don't you try to contact them? TL.net is not the only source for streams.
Try to get in touch with Koreans or the guys at defiler.ru who got Terror to play. There are plenty of people able to speak Korean, so go after them? Tried that? Also, if you have a group of people who are a) able to stream and b) able to work out how to connect to Afreeca, you could try to set-up a stream yourself. Even if it's not working correctly in your location, you might find a different person.
Imo, savior is not only uninteresting as player nowadays, but also doesn't deserve any kind of restream.
I'm sorry but I blame sAviOr for BW's death, even if KeSPA and Blizzard are more to blame than him, I can't help thinking that the scene would still be alive and well if it weren't for his actions. So no, I don't think he should be allowed to stream.
