They are announcing something at PAX East (not Blizzcon) with pretty little pre-announcement hype, so I don't think they'll announce a new AAA title. It's either going to be something that's not really new (like Dota) or something not as big (small mobile game etc).
Edit: By not really new I mean has already kinda been announced before.

There is hype going on in the blackstone project. Dates coincides. It's really odd. Because if it's blizzard allstar, why a SC hype ? I thought blizz allstar would have heroes from all of Blizzard francise (lost viking, warcraft, rock and roll racing etc...)

It's only pre-announcement hype, its not like they're releasing the game with no hype. So the real announce is PAX anyway- it could be a fairly large title.
Then again, it could be stupid TCG online.

Yeah, the real announce is PAX, and Blizzard ususally uses their own events to announce games and don't have a huge presence on third party conventions/trade fairs/events.

Reading the original post again, it doesn't really say anything about announcing, they just say it's something new (and it is new) to get our hands on (playable) and it's something different from their games (because console.) So could very well be, lol.
