why would you travel to mexico with your family when you could just go to Cuba ( or like any other sunny place near the sea, just picked Cuba cause that commie island is so fucking safe for tourists) for half the price and literally 0 risk if getting mugged/shot/raped/kidnapped ( or whatever crimes cartelz do these days ) seriously fuck mexico. i feel bad for mexicans though. vast majority of them are everyday normal guys who just want the same thing as me.

i have been to both mexico and brazil, and i can honestly say that rio was much scarier with the favelas (even though i didnt even set foot near them). of course, everywhere else was fine. san jose in costa rica was also pretty fucking scary.

Lmao i agree. Especially when you read comments on some of the stories. People lack sympathy... However, for me, it is my form of getting news from that region. I always heard of these mass killings, graves, drug violence in mexico and never saw it from a primary source. It's humbling to see how easy it is to die and that where i live is very peaceful in relation to.

I've never been to Rio and I don't want to. There are much better places to visit in Brazil, like the Iguazu Falls.
