If there's a thread about a founding EG member leaving and 9 pages of people discussing him, you might as well either not post or use the search function to not seem so ignorant/annoying.

It would seem to me that being on a top-tier team like EG with all their resources to support you would be extremely beneficial as a progamer. Might be worth more elsewhere, the way Axslav was with ReIGN. And he wasn't ever going to use the teamhouse or go to Korea; he just got engaged. If memory serves he never really used the team house all that much, and was always in Louisiana even prior to the engagement. Good luck to Lz regardless.

Lz is a pimp.
He'll do fine.

He seemed relieved to be able to say his skype name and have people add him if they want coaching, rather than having to sneak around and do it covertly through emails because of the Raidcall sponsorship :D I wonder how many in EG actually use raidcall on a regular basis. Their dota2 squad seems to primarily use skype for example.

Kinda said to see LzGamer go, I loved the guy, so fun during interviews and such. I'm sure he'll find a great new home. Wish you nothing but the best bud!

Good luck Lz! you'll be fine.

He made a nice little come back at the end of 2012, I really thought he was out of the game because he had fallen off the map for so long and never really establishing himself at the EG house or with the EG PR team. Good luck with whatever road you take next Lz!
I hope they find a role for Machine .

His words: "My contract expired. EG offered me a new one. I declined."
He also stated that he isn't leaving ESPORTS and there is no bad blood. Hope to see him on a new team soon! And that essentially kills all the drama that could have resulted from this.
That is so bizarre. EG is one of the best known, and best paying teams. Maybe he didn't like the atmosphere? But he said there is no bad blood. I'm pretty sure EG works with many types of games, so I can't see him switching to a new game. To be honest I think LZGamer was in an incredibly good position considering his results over the past few years, and TO STILL BE OFFERED a contract is just amazing to me.
Many pro-gamers playing SC2 would dream to be payed by EG and make it into a big name team, having the same results LZGamer has. I think maybe, the only explanation I can think of, is that he was a bit embarrassed to be on such a big team but not really be contributing. So he felt like he didn't belong, or didn't deserve to be there?
Well in any case don't want to be too negative. I hope whatever he does he finds his passion and has a happy life

Hey LZ never got to know you too well, but I did watch your stream occasionally. Will definitely check in more often. GL man!

Big fan of LzGamer, and still will be.
I think he is a very respectable guy both in and out of game, and like Sheth, is one of the personalities that I want to emulate when I meet new people or introduce more people into eSports. He is a super nice and friendly guy. He is really down to earth, but still has strict standards of conduct for himself. I have never heard him curse or talk badly about another person in his entire CAREER.
When is the last time ANYONE had beef with him? Or you heard him talking badly on anyone else?
The drama, while it actually does get select players attention, it should not be the attention that people strive to receive. And I think that this is Lz's curse and his blessing at the same time. Because a lot of people LOVE the drama and the handful of individuals it is usually revolving around.
IDK EG, is turning into more of a Korean team than a foreign team anyways. JD, Puma, JYP, Revival.
They have Idra (who is a korean trained player, and since he has left Korea has never been even close performance wise to where he was when he was living there)
Huk, who is living and playing in Korea.
Stephano, Thorzain, and Suppy tho, are their three notable non-koreanpickups, None of whom live in the EG house. (Two of whom spend as much time in Korea, if not more, than they do in the EG house, the 3rd who doesnt live in the EG house either)
Demuslim has also shown the ability to be a top level contender when he is focused.
I am a GIANT fan of iNcontroL as a personality and caster. And I think Machine is another AWSOME person, but in all honesty his entire SC2 career has been based off of his past BW career. If he wasnt on EG at release, he wouldn't be currently.
EG has been slowly expanding their SC2 Korean squad, and when Kespa players become more accessible as far as contracts/trading goes, we will prob see an even more Korean based EG squad. (Not that i blame them... lets be real how many tournaments have foreigners won in a long time where Koreans were present)
Meh ive gotten WWAAAYYY off on this tangent haha sry.
Anyways, big fan, still am, and will be. Will undoubtedly still be clicking on that stream whenever I see it up.

Machines sc2 career has not been based off his BW career at all, afaik he played well in sc2 beta and even placed top 8 in an MLG? i might be wrong but he was a good player in early sc2 days, and definately a top American player. since then the koreans started to dominate, but machine is probably still a top american zerg, and so is lzgamer ;p

Lz and Machine have both had some surprising results last year, but there have been a lot of up-and-comers taking the scene by storm.
