The left discusses the issues with America more beacuse they want to change those.things more then the right. Its a shitty trap that people.like xdaunt are falling into that make.them look bad.

Everybody should quiet down.
Are people getting the help they need in PR?
Yes they are.
Is this taken care of better than Katrina?
Yes it is by damage control.
Ok so problem solved and move on to the gun issue.

Uhm, by everything i hear non of your statements hold up.
Btw: its not actually about left vs right, its conservatism vs progressism, l/r just tend to lean in one of the two pretty hard but its in no way 100% clear. With more parties you would see that clearer.

oo i wanna try.
This American Right is too preoccupied with an image and a perceived patriotism by others to bother with any realities or acknowledging real problems.
nobody cares about your feelings. nobody cares about my feelings(hell, including myself half the time.) you can sit here and talk about respect for a flag and how patriotic someone is or isn’t. i’ll instead put my eggs in a basket with a real problem.
how you can bother to attack someone based on perceived slights to an image is beyond me. who has the time or inclination?

Kicking shit over, throwing a fuss and hitting people in the nuts to get attention is who we are. We make a fuss, we make a scene and we are a generally enthusiastic bunch. Doing stuff that offends people and creates enthused dialogue is American. I don't think that there are any symbols or ideas that are "off limits." But when the express message behind a certain symbol is that America is "I'm not going to honor a racist country," we're well-into unpatriotic territory at that point and well-beyond the underlying idea of merely "we need to fix police abuse to improve society."

I think the relevant question here is what you think people should do when trying to merely fix police abuse has been resisted for decades to the point of exasperation. Keep banging their heads on a brick wall or escalate the issue somehow?

I'm really struggling with how the side that spends large amounts of their time memorializing a failed uprising against this country is considered the one that likes the country more. I guess it comes down to the question of "are people flying the flag of America's enemies patriotic?" According to conservatives, yes.

Well there are lots of vague passive aggressive posts here that are designed to provoke rather than discuss.

And these problems with police are not new things. The shooting and brutal treatment of unarmed black men has been a problem forever. The difference is everyone has a smart phone now and the police cannot destroy the record. And even with those videos, no police officer has been convicted of any crime.

https://www.propublica.org/article/ivanka-donald-trump-jr-close-to-being-charged-felony-fraud
New York prosecutors were preparing a case. Then the D.A. overruled his staff after a visit from a top donor: Trump attorney Marc Kasowitz.
It's actually staggering how cheap it is to buy your way out of criminal charges. A few hundred thousand for lawyers, and 5 figure sum to some politicians for reelection and boom, no prison.
Like father like son, or in this case daughter.
And the DA returned the money 4 years after the donation to top it off, after the donation came to light.
Edit::
Just before the 2012 meeting, Vance’s campaign had returned Kasowitz’s $25,000 contribution, in keeping with what Vance describes as standard practice when a donor has a case before his office. Kasowitz “had no influence and his contributions had no influence whatsoever on my decision-making in the case,” Vance said.
But less than six months after the D.A.’s office dropped the case, Kasowitz made an even larger donation to Vance’s campaign, and helped raise more from others — eventually, a total of more than $50,000. After being asked about these donations as part of the reporting for this article — more than four years after the fact — Vance said he now plans to give back Kasowitz’s second contribution, too.
Fun stuff when bribing officials gets you cleared of charges.

I like how you have racism on the top of the list.
I do believe that that there are racism in the country (against ALL colors should I add) but I wouldn't prioritize it over some of the other things.
