Who cares about the popular vote, you get to be president by winning the EC. It's like complaining on baseball you had more hits, the winner is awarded by runs. If the election was about popular vote, he would have campaigned up and down trough California and win the popular vote. After proving everyone wrong and winning the election by himself, he could post something like this on his twitter and it would be perfectly ok: "On my way to the White House"

You'd rather vote for trump over bernie?? There isn't a single Hillary supporter who would do that, but there's plenty of bernouts.

Do keep in mind that some voters might just stay home from voting entirely instead of voting for Trump, if Bernie beat Hillary in the primary (similar to how some people were Bernie Or Bust).

He gets things done, he wins, no matter what the odds. Under budget, ahead of schedule. I'm sure skeptics will chalk it up to luck or bigotry in the us, but it was a combination of hrc being a awful candidate and the competence of trump. You don't get to call Trump competent when they had to take his twitter away and the campaign had multiple turnovers and mismanagement.

You're right he was a completely incapable bigot who was saved by his campaign with no staff and no ground game and no money. His twitter account is partly responsible for his victory.

The more important point is this: Trump fought to win this election. And by fighting so hard to win it, he rallied a lot of people to his cause. I was tired of all of the hand-wringing pansies that the GOP kept trotting out to fight the democrats and leftist interests. Trump is the first legitimate fighter that the republicans have had since Reagan.

Trump's leson to the world is that we should courageously combat the left and expose their failed ideas without sugar coating.

There were plenty of forces working out there against Clinton no matter who she was facing. There was a huge media machine constantly plastering peoples consciousness with scandal talk and all Trump did was continue to reinforce that. The fact that she underestimated those forces and the feelings of the electorate of her were part of her downfall. She didn't even visit Wisconsin once ffs, she took a lot for granted (like whites who Obama won over) and assumed it was over once that access hollywood tape came out to seal the deal.

Too much gloating and crying in the thread atm with people saying things that make no sense. We even have someone on this page blaming a rich jew for organizing and funding the protests who when asked for any proof links an article that has nothing to do with that and then some obscure as hell blog!

Come on now. LOL thats such a genuine example of ignorance in the donald, EC is very important as half the us population lives in blue states (big cities) But yeah someone already said his campaign trail made sure go after EC and not popular vote. As for protesters being paid, hmm yup. More so what you are seeing is brainwashed liberals who have been lied to by the mass media being forced out of their bubble or safe space. They should of read the wiki leaks, what was mocked as conspiracy was truth. Furthermore Trump is a democrat who was one of the first to advocate gay rights yet plays the Republican.
