I've already been unfriended by 3 people on Facebook for telling them facts. Hmm.

OK, we had Brexit and now Trump. Looks like people started to like making surprise results when it comes to voting.
I didn't like any of the two candidates, and it was always a mystery to me how the two big parties ended up pushing in front such people. But, the big question now is: what is Trump going to do? Because all I've heard was that he is going to build a wall and Mexicans will pay for that wall (which is absurd, but you never know - maybe Mexicans will want a wall after few years of Trump in US) and that he will deny entrance for Muslims in US. No idea what's next.

I still think this is the best look at what you can expect from a Trump presidency:
https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/grading-the-presidential-candidates-on-science/
Example:
There is growing concern over the decline of fisheries and the overall health of the ocean: scientists estimate that 90% of stocks are fished at or beyond sustainable limits, habitats like coral reefs are threatened by ocean acidification, and large areas of ocean and coastlines are polluted. What efforts would your administration make to improve the health of our ocean and coastlines and increase the long-term sustainability of ocean fisheries?
Trump's reply:
My administration will work with Congress to establish priorities for our government and how we will allocate our limited fiscal resources. This approach will assure that the people’s voices will be heard on this topic and others.

Almost no influence at all. The average voter does not spend his days reading internet blogs,i bet the vast majority of voters have never heard from any of the above.
The thought that "guerilla" media somehow contributed to hillarys loss is far from reality imo,its almost like a conspiracy lol.
The average joe gets his news from the tv networks and maybe some mainstream internet site. Not all these blogs found on reddit or 4chan.

Did Maine pass their proportional voting measure?

We'll see how it looks if and when he starts trade Wars with Mexico and China.

Just face it, hillary lost because she is Hillary: pure product of the establishment, and nowadays it's really not something u wanna be as a politician.

Holy shit that is savage. Those answers read like Trump is a kid trying to bs his way through a book report on something he never read.

Yes.
Also Gary Johnson's familiarity with Nuclear power is unsettling. (well not really, but was a surprisingly comprehensive response).

Yes, the scientific policies that will come out of this government will be a sight to behold. Pray to god that the Paris climate agreement isn't going to be abandoned.

NAFTA sucks i hope he scraps it. i got no problem with products and services going across the US/Canada border because we have similar living standards and similar employee pay. I don't want Canada signing some sweetheart trade deal with a country that pays people $0.20 an hour.

Wynne and Trudeau are already in begging mode.... i think 2/3s of all of Ontario's exports are bought by New York state. i'd like to see that # climb.

Trump doesn't like beggars I'd guess.
