Yep. That's what made it even more ridiculous

I saw this as well.

Sad thing is, these debates are not going to even matter at all in terms of swaying voters

I'm sure they will.

Holt was basically a door mat. It would be pretty unreasonable to complain about that after he was allowed to shout at Clinton while she was speaking.
I think Trump started better than expected but ended up getting baited and lost control for the majority of the debate.

I wonder what it would have been like with almost any other Republican on that stage... missed opportunities. And Trump was the only one who could stick it to Hillary! lol.

do any trump supporters think he interrupted too much

Anderson Cooper will be much better. He is great at calling bullshit from all sides.

Debate went about as well as it possibly could for Hillary.
People that don't trust her still won't trust her, but Trump just looked bad. He was more or less holding serve at the beginning, but as time went on, he looked worse and worse as he offered zero concrete details, repeatedly and blatantly lied, looked buffoonish as he stammered, repeated himself, and yelled over the other two constantly, and fell into some pretty slick one-liners by Clinton towards the end.
As for the moderator, I agree that he didn't do the greatest, but if he would've done well, the entire debate would've been him calling Trump out for the incredible amount of lies that he told in one sitting. They really just need to install a button that lets the moderator turn off one or both microphones if they refuse to stop talking or keep spouting total B.S.

Yes I do
Especially with the moderator.

Any other Republican I think can win that debate. Honestly I think the best way for Trump to win is for him to catch a serious flu right before the 2nd debate and have Pence step in for him because he can win that debate or at least not look that terrible.

(not a Trump supporter but) If Trump had stayed Xanax'd like he was the first 15 minutes with minimal interruptions he would have walked away with it I think
Edit: To add more, he was really hammering the 30 years thing effectively (or as meaningfully as he can), but clearly lost the thread of that argument

Crime hasn't been rising at all except for this one year. The point of the second one is that the number cited is misleading. See the paragraphs directly below: • The number refers to "potential" jobs lost, not actual jobs lost. This is an important point that would not be obvious from the way Trump phrased his statement. By leaving the impression that these were actual jobs lost, Trump’s statistic invites a degree of outrage that isn’t warranted.
...
• The number doesn’t reflect that coal is increasingly being replaced by natural gas. Trump’s decision to use this number tells only part of the story of how the electricity sector has been developing.
The third one is just wrong because Sanders was talking about a small section of African-Americans. It even says so in the title. "For young people who have graduated high school or dropped out of high school, who are between the ages of 17 and 20, if they happen to be white, the unemployment rate is 33 percent," he said. "If they are Hispanic, the unemployment rate is 36 percent. If they are African-American, the real unemployment rate for young people is 51 percent."
Meanwhile, with Trump, he was counting people not looking for work as unemployed which is misleading.
So, is one year of crimes rising after so many years of decline is not something to be noted? If he said 'Crime has been rising', you would be right, but right now, it IS rising.
He never said it was actual job lost, he said it costs 50k+ jobs. Even in the worst case it is partly true.
Sanders said between 17 and 20, Trump said 'youth'. He said this: "If you look at what’s going on in this country, African-American youth is an example: 59 percent unemployment rate; 59 percent," Trump said. "If you look at what’s going on with Latinos, Hispanics - tremendous unemployment rates. You look at what’s going on with so many groups. We’re going to make it great for everyone. We’re going to bring jobs back to our country."
How can you tell what he refers to with "unemployed"?He says the exact same thing Sanders said instead said 'youth' instead of 17-20, and didn't say the word 'real', because it's meaningless.
EDIT: If you reply, do it in a PM if possible. It's 5 AM, so I'll go to sleep and I'm unlikely to scroll back all the pages.

To Trump's benefit most people's attention span is only about 10-15 minutes anyway.
