Won't matter. Ivanka's going to be able to go around saying whatever she wants, it doesn't have to be congruent with whatever Trump's saying at all. While Trump's appeal is limited to party lines mostly, Ivanka is about to demolish Hillary's male numbers. I guarantee you, by tomorrow morning every male chauvinist jerk is going to have the video of Ivanka on their feed knowing what she said is the antithesis to much of what Trump and they purport to support saying "See Trump's better than Hillary!" A bunch of low information voters are going to believe that so long as she keeps selling it. She knows how invaluable she is to Trump winning, and it wouldn't surprise me one bit to find out she's been leveraging her full campaign support for more power/responsibility instead of Jr. I don't know how the cognitive dissonance won't cause mass cranial ruptures across the country but man, Hillary is going to have absolutely nothing to run on other than "I'm not Trump", to which his response will be "You sure the hell aren't, you're more of the same status quo political bullshit we all hate" and that's going to kill. So far this speech gives me the impression he just might be able to keep the facade of capability up (for the low information/loyal supporters) long enough to really f'in do this. Not sure I would place so much stock in Ivanka. Trump is still a nut with some bad poll numbers. Hes been going up for 2 months (since the judge comments) and the odds have shifted towards Trump noticeably since the last round of betting in this thread.
Well, he's still a nut with some bad poll numbers.

It'd be better if we did without shitposting uninteresting tweets.

Folks should use the link in the OP and look to the 2012 RNC. Deja vu, I'll tell ya

He's within the margin of error pretty much everywhere (that matters) before this inevitable bump. Like I said, she'll have to stick around and eventually at least dodge some questions about her dad, but again, he's already tied after 6 months of the crazy, and now he got the arena to applaud those concepts she outlined so he's basically been given a pass to pander as much as he wants to the left so long as he sneaks in some of the red meat.
Democrats have to be out of their minds to think they are going to win a contest on whether he's just pulling a con job with someone who is already less trusted by voters than Trump even with the less trusted Media at her side it's throwing the game in champ select.
Also seriously, I recognize the code pink protester but no one there does, this has got to be sta.... Never mind... It's actually possible no one there recognized her. (But seriously how did she even get in there?)

Man I miss Bernie, he gave me hope and dashed it all away by supporting everything he said he was against. Fuck most politicians

There is always a difference between what you want to do and what you have the political support to do. He got what he could and that's better than staying an ideologue and compromising any chance of getting what he wanted.

US & Europe don't seem to me like the lawless dystopian wastelands that Gingrich and Trump have described at this convention
|
I just wish that political parties were banned in the US, George Washington warned us and America fucked up right afterwards
|
Has "LGBTQ" ever been said at a GOP convention (not in disdain)?
|
It's funny how Trump enunciates "LGTBQ."

I wonder if the viewers notice the contrast between Trump's policies and those of everyone he invited to the convention as speakers. It's a big contrast, policy-wise.
I've heard that a lot of what makes "the establishment" freak out about Trump is his FP. The agenda-pushers in this thread, at the very least, seem to corroborate that view.

Remember: his first act will be to purge the goverment of all Obama's appointees. Never been done before in the US. Once in Germany.
