I fucking hope not. That is not an issue that wins voters. It is pandering to people who are already on board. BLM is not well viewed right now after the police deaths, whether that view is justified or not. I would like the DNC to not use crying mothers for a few votes they already have. Hahaha, yep. It would be a horrible, horrible mistake to fly the BLM flag at the Democrat convention. That said, they're so out of touch that I think that they'll do it. I'm not sure that Trayvon and Mike Brown's mothers are necessarily "flying the BLM flag".
They don't need to fly the flag in order to give people a BLM feeling. And I mean, what are they there to really say? What could they say to influence undecided voters? Anti-police sentiment is only really found far right of center or a bit left of center. There is no center appeal in highlighting police violence. The DNC should focus on eliminating citizens united and making improvements to the ACA. If Clinton talks big about destroying ISIS, decreasing the costs of the ACA and eliminating citizens united, I think she's got a good shot.

If videos of police shootings like the one just out of Florida keep popping up, I think y'all will be singing a different tune

I would bet it's aimed at mobilizing the black vote.

Donald Trump’s campaign manager blamed The New York Times for misquoting Trump's claims that the U.S. might not come to the defense of NATO member countries, but in a transcript released by the newspaper, Trump minced no words.
Asked whether he would defend the smaller Baltic states if Russia attacked them, the real estate mogul said he would do so only if those countries “fulfilled their obligations to us.”
The Times’ David Sanger pointed out that the U.S. is obliged under Article 5 of the NATO treaty to provide immediate military aide to all countries in the alliance, but Trump refused to move past the bills that some member nations owe.
“You can’t forget the bills,” Trump said. “They have an obligation to make payments. Many NATO nations are not making payments, are not making what they’re supposed to make. That’s a big thing. You can’t say forget that.”
“My point here is, Can the members of NATO, including the new members in the Baltics, count on the United States to come to their military aid if they were attacked by Russia? And count on us fulfilling our obligations—” Sanger asked.
“Have they fulfilled their obligations to us? If they fulfill their obligations to us, the answer is yes,” Trump said.
“And if not?” the Times’ Maggie Haberman asked.
“Well, I’m not saying if not,” Trump replied.
NATO describes the principle of collective defense as “the very heart” of the alliance’s founding treaty.
Trump’s comments set off a firestorm, with foreign policy experts warning that his proposals threatened an end to decades of bipartisan support for NATO and could launch an international diplomatic crisis.

Hehe Peter Thiel is going to bitch the convention out for being against gay rights and tell them not to worry about who goes int the bathroom. That on top of being the first openly gay speaker at the RNC. That should be fun.

He hates goverment programs like medicare and social security, but sells software to the goverment. He is a libertarian, but once wrote that giving women the vote was bad for democracy. He loves free speech, as long at it doesn't attack him in a manner he doesn't like.
The more I read about him, the more I think he isn't really a libertarian, but a rich guy who thinks no one would be able tell him what he can't do, ever. That rights are great, as long as other peoples rights don't get in his way.

To oppose government regulations until they support your company seems to be a reoccurring scheme among a good portion of (American) entrepreneurs. Musk does the same thing regularly

This is why I have 0 faith Hillary or her supporters will do anything to improve the situation.
The mothers are most definitely going to be there and speaking, though neither is really associated with BLM. BLM isn't "anti-police" it's "anti police brutality", people really need to comprehend that, especially on the left.
It may not be quite like the GOP convention, but I think folks are in for some surprises if my sources are accurate.

In 2002, Donald Trump’s running mate Mike Pence said condoms are a poor defense against sexually transmitted infections and diseases.
Pence’s comments came in response to then Secretary of State Colin Powell saying in an MTV forum that young people should protect themselves through safe sex with condoms.
“I think it’s important for young people, especially, to protect themselves from the possibility of acquiring any sexually transmitted disease, but especially to protect themselves from HIV/AIDS, which is a plague that is upon the face of the earth,” Powell said.
In an interview with CNN, Pence called Powell’s comments a “sad day,” and said he advocated for abstinence education. Pence said Powell’s call for condom use mislead millions of young people and put their lives at risk.
“Well, Wolf, I think it was — given the enormous stature that Colin Powell rightly has, not only in America but in the world community, it was a sad day. I don’t think any administration has had a worst day since boxers and briefs on MTV,” Pence said on CNN to Wolf Blitzer. “And the truth is that Colin Powell had an opportunity here to reaffirm this president’s commitment to abstinence as the best choice for our young people, and he chose not to do that in the first instance, but — and so I think it’s very sad.”
“The other part is that, frankly, condoms are a very, very poor protection against sexually transmitted diseases, and in that sense, Wolf, this was — the secretary of state maybe inadvertently misleading millions of young people and endangering lives,” continued Pence.
Pence said the solution was “too modern” for him.
“The problem is it was too modern of an answer, Wolf,” he said. “It was — it truly was a modern, liberal answer to a problem that parents like me are facing all over America, and frankly, all over the world.”
The Center for Disease Control says condoms can effectively protect from many of the most serious sexually transmitted diseases when applied correctly.

You're approaching the issue of BLM in a much more complex way than most people. Nothing I am saying is based on people with half a brain, I'm talking about the average uneducated, ignorant voter. It is team A and team B, nationally, with regards to BLM. Your and my perspective are irrelevant to the greater issue regarding voting in our country. I am talking about large populations, not TL.
Humor me: What are your sources telling you is brewing?
