It's going to go real bad for Cruz when Trump actually wins

So Cruz is in the clear then.

This is why I like having Trump supporters in this thread. Trump went out of his way to try and get Cruz, knew he wasn't going to endorse, and saw the speech beforehand. But it was Trump's generosity.

After all the things Trump has said about people, I loved seeing it stuck to him in primetime.

Nevermind Cruz did well enough in the primary to earn his own speaking slot. His supporters almost put his name in nomination. Trump couldn't not offer.

oh, and Trump/Manafort were ready with the boos. 10/10 generosity.

tit for tat.

And I find it amusing that "vote your conscience" is a problem for Trump supporters. You should just take the Gingrich approach.

That's Ted Cruz's career in a nutshell. That's why everyone in Congress hates him and and why his constituents love him.

Can Trump offer educational options? I thought that was the states' jurisdiction or am I just thinking of Canada's provincial jurisdiction.

It's not tit for tat

No one has a problem with 'vote your conscience' it's laughably dishonest to say anyone found that problematic without taking into account the context

I don't know what the Republican Party will look like in four years. It's possible that Cruz's actions might earn him some favor next election cycle.

I certainly did not predict Trump four years ago.

A bet Cruz is willing to take.

I hope it's the right one, because this Republican party is a disgrace.

Who are his constituents anyways? Why would anyone love someone who makes a career out of passively aggressively backstabbing people (let alone his other faults like being a biblical social conservative)

His constituents are people in Texas who believe that the federal government is not conservative enough and that the Republican leadership is too weak to stand up to Obama.

He's part of the problem
