I hope not, because Cruz is a major contributing factor to Trump's rise in power.
I'd like to note my disagreement for the record. But I won't dispute it now.

Typical attack ad It's going to go real bad for Cruz when Trump actually wins So Cruz is in the clear then. Na even if Trump loses Cruz has shown everyone he's a snake Trump generously offered him a spot to speak at his convention and he used it to selfishly promote division because it wasn't him they elected This is why I like having Trump supporters in this thread. Trump went out of his way to try and get Cruz, knew he wasn't going to endorse, and saw the speech beforehand. But it was Trump's generosity. After all the things Trump has said about people, I loved seeing it stuck to him in primetime. Nevermind Cruz did well enough in the primary to earn his own speaking slot. His supporters almost put his name in nomination. Trump couldn't not offer. oh, and Trump was ready with the boos. 10/10 generosity. By all means he passively aggressively used Trump's offer to stab him in the back for his own personal agenda tit for tat. And I find it amusing that "vote your conscience" is a problem for Trump supporters. You should just take the Gingrich approach. It's not tit for tat No one has a problem with 'vote your conscience' it's laughably dishonest to say anyone found that problematic without taking into account the context in any case, A bet Cruz is willing to take. I hope it's the right one, because this Republican party is a disgrace. Is Cruz actually your idea of a good candidate? He is the literal representation of tea party values in the republican party
To be diplomatic, I'd say that there are better candidates. But I've discussed this before. I'm under no illusions.
But I also think Trump is a terrible candidate, because his character sucks. Thankfully, Hillary's sucks as well.
Hell, Trump's message might work better if it didn't come from Trump.

I mean if you guys think LGBT and racial equality issues would have ever been allowed by speakers at the RNC by any other candidate than Trump you're seriously delusional. Or a NASA mission commander advocating for a renewal of space funding. Let alone an islamic speaker being given a timeslot as well.
Trump is doing his best at moving the Republican party out of the stoneage with the base he's working with

I still can't believe how poorly Rand Paul did. Ron Paul was too much the ideologue and therefore niche. However, rather than bringing the libertarian ideas mainstream, Rand lost the original niche supporters to I don't know what and gained no-one new.

Cruz is the candidate who represented the Huckabee/Santorum wing of the party this cycle. It's not someone you want to ever be the Presidential candidate. That direction should be a clear a dead end for the future of the party.
Speaking but not endorsing the nominee was classless, but will be forgotten quickly as the campaign gets going.

Trump is definitively the one who has more of a chance to win. Cruz would get stomped very hard and for democrats is the one they really wouldn't want in the oval office. As a friend put it "Trump is an asshole but Cruz is the real monster".

Ron Paul just had a certain genuine charm to him that made him stand out from being another career politician; something I think Rand lacked for compared to his father.

Exactly this. A right wing democrat/moderate fighting both against the tea party movement, and the absurd (imo) LGBT and equality focused movement of the democrats.

Also for the record, I would have loved a "vote your conscience" from either Rubio or Walker. Or anyone.
And for the 50th time, remember that the speech was APPROVED by the Trump campaign. They signed off on it. Didn't have to. They wanted boos. So many games, so exciting!

I appreciate the respect from the crowd.

Trump is doing his best at moving the Republican party out of the stoneage with the base he's working with The Republicans parade out minority speakers every year to pander to an increasingly non-white voter population. Zero minorities believe it. Presumably because the camera keeps panning out to a crowd so white it reflects the spotlights.
Incidentally, the Republican party platform supports gay conversion therapy. This is even after Trump removed every reference about Russia from the Ukraine section.

So Trump banished by the Catholic Pope. Then he choose to be a Orthodox? Am i missing something?

I might be old on this but I'm pretty sure the Pope ended up apologizing to Trump in regards to that whole ordeal

I mean when 90% of blacks are democrats for example, what do you expect?
Do you think we should see 50% blacks in the crowd when roughly 1% of the U.S. population are republican blacks?

Sorry to interrupt the convention talk, but seriously...
I suppose the silver lining is now when people say "Hands up, Don't shoot" the "all lives" crowd can shut up and presume they are referring to this man.

Yep, exactly. It's a work in progress, but slowly and surely, the party is shifting, and so are its demographics. You can't fault them for trying.

I saw that. The cop won't be charged because he was scared of the black man, therefore the shooting is justified according to the government. America, where the state can kill you if you scare them.

Maybe actually do something that helps the black community and you'll start getting more black people to vote Republican?
The black community is, as a whole, rather socially conservative. The problem is that Republicans have done jack squat to help race relations in any way for generations.
