Edit: I think the gay thing needs to be put to bed. There are a lot of people who would hesitate to vote for someone who, more than a year after the supreme court gave it the thumbs up, would still try to overturn it. That ship sailed. It really, really sailed. Dare I say, it makes the ticket look out of touch. Don't like 67% or some similar amount of young republicans support gay marriage? This is gonna be a real bummer for them. | ||

Not just because I think it would be hilarious (and wouldn't really feel bad for Pence getting shafted at all) but because Flynn is just objectively a better pick both for winning the election and for meeting the criteria of being a quality person of integrity that ought to be a metric used for determining the VP. At the very least, he isn't dictated by backwards social policies like Pence is. Trump needs to change his mind on this. | ||

Also, good luck winning an election with only white males with Pence. I guess Trump can take comfort in that he'll probably beat Mondale's numbers so he won't be the biggest failure of a presidential candidate in US history. | ||
