You're far too mild mannered and citation-thorough to warrant the kind of animosity that's needed for someone to take you up on that kind of bet, to be frank. Sucks to be you, dawg ![]()

I don't value posting on LL much at all: i can keep in touch with all the relevant people with skype or discord, and in the low percentile chance Trump does win, I'll need the ban anyways to make plans for dusting off my Canadian citizenship and moving.

Among Iowa voters likely to participate in November's presidential election, 44% currently support Trump and 42% back Clinton. Another 6% intend to vote for Libertarian Gary Johnson, 1% say they will support Green Party candidate Jill Stein, 2% say they will vote for another candidate, and 6% are undecided. One unusual finding in the poll is that Trump leads among voters under 50 years old in Iowa. In Monmouth polls conducted nationally and in other states, Clinton has held an advantage with younger voters. Specifically, 51% of Iowa voters under age 50 currently support Trump, compared to 32% for Clinton, 7% for Johnson, and 3% for Stein or another candidate. Among voters age 50 and older, Clinton has the edge with 50% support, compared to 38% for Trump, 4% for Johnson and 1% for Stein or another candidate. Source

There are legal options to bet online anyways - such as if the online venue is outside of the jurisdiction of those betting laws. I won't post any links but it's not hard to find online betting venues that will let you bet on the previously mentioned odds.

Singer Jennifer Lopez posted a tweet Tuesday that included the hashtag “#AllLivesMatter,” but deleted it just moments later. JLo’s social media missive included a photo of her and former “Hamilton” star Lin-Manuel Miranda’s recent performance on the Today show. The post, however, caught the attention of several Twitter users who wasted no time in mocking the singer. http://www.breitbart.com/big-hollywood/2016/07/12/jennifer-lopez-receives-backlash-tweeting-deleting-alllivesmatter/

No, you're right, it's a federal crime to bet on presidential elections. Due to a federal law, it’s illegal in the United States -- and yes, even Nevada -- to bet on any elections, national or local.
