You can replace "God" with "Allah" in a lot of republican rhetoric and see some pretty absurd double standards.

I'm kinda glad he is. Keep your powder dry. Always another year. Let the voters reap what they sow.
You think Cruz has any sort of future as a presidential candidate?

Cruz drops out.
And endorses Ronald Reagan.

You'd be foolish to think otherwise. This was his best opportunity, true, but the big orange man got in the way. He's young, and has built a base. Not saying a good chance, but there is time.

I don't think the republican party has a future as the christian party. I think Ted Cruz is entirely reliant on evangelicals and there just aren't enough anymore.

Someone should tell Ted Cruz that Ronald Reagan died years ago.
|
Pundits said it was impossible? Are we talking about Trump now? lmaooo
I can't believe Cruz just suggested a 6 year old child is capable of having a developed political position.

He lost his evangelic edge to Trump of all people, like wtf.
Wonder if the GOP will finally rally behind Trump or if they will somehow try to keep fighting him.

So Cruz takes political donation from children at their lemonade stand.

How would you rank the remaining candidates from least bad to worst?

If he runs again, I would expect him to ...adjust his messaging, though not his beliefs. He's just too young, probability dictates he tries again. But why worry so far into the future?
Oh, I'll put it this way. if Cruz thought this was his only chance, he wouldn't be dropping out.

Republicans?
All:
The bogey-man
Kasich Trump, Clinton

This is personality cult type speech...

Looks like Cruz suspended his campaign... Is it happening? Did Trump really make it to the general?

Hard-line christian beliefs will never have another president in the white house.
Listening to Cruz is awful, least inspirational person I can think of.
edit: I've won $200 in bets on Trump winning ^^

As long as god grants us the strength? What in the world, this is some seriously creepy shit. I had no idea this kind of stuff was normal.

I'm kinda glad he is. Keep your powder dry. Always another year. Let the voters reap what they sow. You think Cruz has any sort of future as a presidential candidate? There are some perennial candidates, like Huckabee and Carson. Cruz probably won't have a performance to match this year's again, but you can always be a candidate even if a chance of victory is nowhere in your future.
