Outsider trump against establishment Hillary,it will be epic this November. Think trump can win this if he plays it smart, but there is potential to screw up. I will still say "only idiots vote for trump". It just seems there are more idiots then I expected.
You can look at bits and pieces of his idea's and proposals and agree with them but your voting to put the entire man into office, not the bits you like. If you look at everything Trump has said and done and think "I think this is the best candidate for the Presidency of the United States of America" then I'm sorry but... Your an idiot.

Well the Democrat side of things is certainly a lot more competitive.

Good lord it's close on the Democratic side. 3 votes separating them right now.

*You're
Yes, half of the US populations are idiots. When I was young, my father once told me that when I think that I'm right, and I think that everyone is wrong, it might be a good time to look around because chances that I'm wrong.
Anyway, calling 50%~ of the population that support Trump as idiots might be one of those "I shouldn't live on this planet anymore moments". I think that Trump is exactly what the US needs in its current situation.
edit: On the other side of things, why is the Democratic election even a topic of debate anymore - that election is as good as done.

Because the assumed winner is looking like they may keep losing between now and the convention?
Hardly reinforces the idea that people are happy with the idea of nominating Hillary.

Telling. Pressing that the GOP has to reform in order to stay relevant.

Like I've said before, Hillary could disappear from the face of the planet for 3 months and still win the nomination. Even if they split the super-delegates equally (which they wont), Bernie would need to win every state with a 65% vote (see 30 points in every state), which is literally impossible unless she suddenly dies. And it's extremely wishful thinking that super delegates will side with Bernie, I'd be shocked if he got more than 200 super delegates even if he had a majority of pledged delegates, simply because Bernie is supported by low information voters and his voters think differently than the White House.
Just look at the polls: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/dem_pres_primary/
You're wasting your time if you're following the democratic primaries at this point unless you're trying to send the Bernie message to others for future elections.

Looks like Clinton is on track to land the 39 delegates she needs.

Wasting your breath. He's still convinced superdelegates will go against the popular vote and delegate count.

So when does the media and Hillary begin dumping the freight cars of oppo research on Trump? Do they still wait till June?

I was mostly thinking about his favorable/unfavorable numbers which show that only about 33% of people view him favorably.
Anyway, only one of several polls showed him up against Clinton, and it was within the margin of error:

Generally no, recently there was a poll where he was up by 2% though.

It's tough to get an accurate number since more or less all polls are do you like x or y more. However, upon further inspection, I apologize, my number was exaggerated since everyone is apparently unfavorable (since people like to whine without providing solutions).

No reason to spend any time on it now. Let them actually try to pull this off first. There's plennnnnty of time for that.
