Through a quick count on wikipedia, there are 912~ delegates left, and he will need 547 of those. Now roughly half of the states left have winner take all elections, so that would play in his favor. If he wins Cali he will need 375 out of 740.

I have no idea what the process works, but what percentage chance would you give Trump if he had 1150~ delegates to being nominated? I mean they can't realistically choose Kasich when he will have like 200 seats, or someone like Romney instead, can they?
They are able to do so. All the delegates are freed up. But it will destroy the party and they will clearly lose the general election. I'm really hoping it happens.

All the countries are trying to cover it up to promote peace and harmony. It's a good ideal, but imo, it's incredibly naive. A persons ideology is a pretty important aspect of them. And whether that ideology is malleable and evolving or not. No disagreement there, just look at Nyxisto. People like him are the reason why there was an upset with the AfD - politicians ignore legitimate concerns, or play them down - so people went to the other extreme. I'm not saying that the AfD is a good thing, it isn't at all. But i can understand every person who voted for them out of protest of how the german government (amongst others, like the president of police etc) handled the whole crisis.

Thank you for speaking up against it, maybe a lot of you live in places where this stuff doesn't happen, but I think that making Islam work smoothly in a western country can be difficult, and a decent bit needs to be sacrificed to make it work.
I think the original image paints a good picture, different belief system that isn't truly compatible with the western one. The way we currently deal with it is essentially assimilating them to the point that they hardly follow their traditions, and then we say, "hey look, our society is compatible with Muslims". I don't think its a winning situation for either party.
Anyways, not trying to derail the thread, just trying to provide a perspective when people are appalled that 2/3rd's of the voting population agrees with banning Muslims.

Nominating him is like lining up their authority over the party in front of an open grave and shooting it in the head. You can't make a deal with someone when they lose no matter what you do-I'm pretty sure Trump discussed this on The Apprentice.
