Auto split, 1 button to select whole army, worker counters, new a-move units, scan shows exactly how much you scanned to the enemy, also did you notice there are "tips" on the lower right part of the screen? it says "Right click to move" and "A + click to attack move" LOL

hots is gonna be awesome

Why is suddenly every platinum-leaguer such an elitist nowadays?

Can you not understand that for casual players, you get a lot more fun out of the game if some of the more mundane tasks are aided?

Many players dont want to get good, they just want some cheap fun, managing army/strategies is more fun than managing workers.

Also these changes do nothing for pros as they dont saturate fully. Watched stephano yesterday and he never goes to 24/24 anyways.

16 for minerals, 6 on gas = 22 by the way, so why exactly does it show 24?

auto split solves lag dissadvantages @ the begin of the game = global play SOLVED . workers count is good so pro gamers dont have to box every 10 seconds every base to see if they miss 1 or have 1 woker more .a-move units dunno maybe is microable but there hasant been tested enough yet . scan is good , so ppl wont " Hope " terran didnt saw certain things with a scan when he did . and the " tips " are for new commers . not like you are born with mouse+keyboard and you alredy know from the begin to select army and move it around .

I'd bet I've been watching pro Starcraft since before half the guys on these forums knew what Blizzard was. Please don't start talking now about how Blizzard is ruining Starcraft with simplifying features. That boat sailed about 2 1/2 years ago.

yeah, i just dont care about casual players, blizzard should focus more on esports than getting a few extra dollars from casuals

I support these changes.

1. They don't really lower the skill ceiling. Most of them matter nothing above mid-master (except for warhound, which imho should be redesigned).

2. They help to bring new casual players -> larger viewer base for tourneys -> higher advertising revenues -> better living for pro-players -> profit for e-sports and awesome pro-scene!
This is not Warcraft in space!

Every Brood War player said the exact same thing when SC2 came out. They ended up being wrong for a lot of reasons, but the game wasn't as good as BW for other reasons entirely (better ai->unit clumping->weakened AOE->deathball gameplay). Give BW a try before you complain about Blizzard simplifying your game.
