I smell bullshit. You say he wants to have a threesome but he has a problem with your adventurous past? Doesn't add up. If he is considering "your future together" and still wants to have a threesome with you then he shouldn't have a problem with what you did with your other boyfriend. So if you're actually thinking about spending the rest of your life with him, you should be as truthful as possible but it seems like this relationship is doomed to fail.

Its quite simple, you just have to show your hand, like you're convincing him you're going bio, then if he doesn't buy it, you transition into mech and steamroll him, don't fall into his trap.
