There's even a group called Anti-English Spectrum who are specifically targeted towards exposing foreigners who are engaging in anything they deem to be unacceptable (It's fine if those involved are breaking the law), but apparently this group has stalked and harassed completely innocent people in the past. I've also heard stories on Dave's ESL Cafe of (usually older and almost always drunk) Korean men abusing foreign man/Korean woman couples on the street for no apparent reason (beyond their own xenophobia.) Personally, the majority of young Korean guys I came into contact with where intensely immature, and the older generation were often drunk, angry and annoying. I did meet some lovely men over in SK, but seeing the weekday falling-down-drunk antics of people old enough to know better really didn't make me think 'Wow, they're so superior to Foreign men.'

It's comically biased to suggest that the Korean women who date foreign men are being taken advantage of - if they're going to popular foreigner hang outs/going into clubs where there will definitely be foreign men then it's a given that some of the guys in there might try to hit on them. It's not as if they're poor powerless virgins with no means to say no.

I enjoyed my time in SK, but seeing things like this make me glad I left.

(I did find it kind of funny that they altered the voices to make everyone sound like a chipmunk though.)

Anyways, generally speaking, the Asians have very conservative cultures. They will speak about foreigners in disrespectful ways and will look down on interracial relationships. But you know what? There is a good amount of truth in the things Asians have to say about "foreigners". But it's not just foreigners causing problems, everyone does it to everyone else at some point. It's only being emphasized in Korea because it's starting to become a large issue there.

but you can take a look at census data in the US to see dating preferences even here - white male asian female couples and black guy white girl couples are the largest demographic when it comes to interracial dating. other combos are insignificant in comparison.
