Every single NBA basketball game is like this. Just watch more basketball and you'll understand. I watch a shitload of basketball, lol. I love the game, and I hate the way it's being officiated in recent years. My rage at officials is absolutely nothing new. It's like this every postseason. Stars get more ticky-tack fouls than anyone else, post play gets rougher, boxing out involves more elbows. I don't know. I don't understand why you watch it if it causes you such dissatisfaction. Because not every game has poor officiating, and I absolutely love basketball, and I love watching the game, even when Refs piss me off =D Okay well, as a favor, please strive to limit officiating posts to 4 a quarter. LOL. That, I can do. Didn't intend to come off as an ass really, just frustrated is all! And I was a jerk =/ All that being said, I actually thought this was a pretty good game. Agreed, as much as I complained, the game wasn't won or lost by the officiating, the Heat just played well down the stretch and the Thunder had some horrible decision making. Fisher's walk-up 3 comes to mind, lol Group hugs? i like hugs...and inadvertent gropes
Sure they are. ~_^

Don't let the "pure evil that is lebron" drag you down ! :D

Can't help but speculate that San Antonio would be up 3-0 at this point. Everything about their game was just so much more methodical and disciplined: two adjectives that OKC could not possibly be further from at this point.

Same feelings, I won't deny his ability because it damn impressive but I don't have to like him or root for him to win. MASHED POTATOES!! thanks random screaming during U.S Open

I don't know how anyone can hate Lebron as a person. He's one of the most congenial and charitable pro athletes in the world and people hate him for one goofy pep talk and an obnoxious special that he did to raise millions for charity.
Like, seriously, 2 years ago he was the most beloved player around for what an amazing person and player he was. He isn't a different person because he was tired of wasting his life on a crappy team.

Miami so good with the FTs this series. OKC uncharacteristically missing the last 2 games. Brooks prolly benched Westbrook and Durant to long in the 3rd when Miami caught up.

The media likes a good story and the big 3 in Miami can easily be cast in an "evil empire" type role. Other than bitter Cleveland fans I don't really see how you can hate him that much, I just like to root against Miami cause I like the underdog role. Against OKC I don't really see them as having and advantage so it's w/e.
Plus Chris Bosh is awesome.

Yeah see, I am not even rooting for The Heat (I'm actually a Hornets fan but lol), I'm rooting for the Thunder because I like Durant the most. But people criticizing James for his personal character is one of the most absurd things I've ever heard. He's an outstanding human being.

People don't like to lose, no one can deny how good he is.

I don't mind people disliking him because he's really good and beats their teams. Like if a Celtics fan said they hated Lebron because they're a celtics fan that's a-ok. I'm on a soapbox over people deriding his character as a person.

Finals basketball will make it too dificult for OKC to win especially away from home. Experience hurt them during the last minutes of the play in a very tight game(turnovers, missed shots/ft)

I'm with you. I hate the Heat, because they're kind of symbolizing the end of the Celtics, heh, and this year's team has been my favorite Celtics team that I've been alive to watch. I genuinely don't really like D.wade, Bosh is fine, and Lebron is an enigma, but I certainly can't say I hate him as a person.
Also, Kevin Durant is so much fun to watch! He's my favorite non-Celtic player.

Yeah, The Decision and championship talk didn't really bother me. I am just rooting for LeBron because I think he deserves a ring or two for what he has done over his career. Also as the Heat get older, the Thunder will probably run the league as long as they keep the core that have so they will have plenty of time.

OKC had this game and let it slip away. Leaving your two best players on the bench for four minutes at the end of the 3rd was a terrible decision. I know why Durant was there but no reason for Westbrook.
|
Terrible end to a fantastic game. The final possessions on both sides were just plain shit. Overall happy with the game though, glad to see both teams competing hard, and seeing the MVP finally play like it in the finals is a nice change.

He's like the only one on this forum that knows what he's talking about concerning NBA.
