If you honestly deep-down turn the other cheek to uses of these words in ways that are meant to be inflammatory and derogatory or think it's not a big deal because "people say it on the internet all the time" and you don't see how it's a problem that someone who represents the SC2 community is saying these things, please never talk to me until you can broaden your perspective and educate yourself. You can go ahead and attack my high horse but at least it's a progressive, tolerant one. In the meantime, lets never hang out | ||

Your incrededible arrogance is pretty apparent though, but at least you can hide behind the "Crusader of justice against racists" as your shield to hide you from all attacks. The reality is he said something bad and should apologize. Other than that, punishment is up to EG and isn't our business because it's something only they can control. I don't think people can do much other than say he shouldn't have said it and that it was bad, unless people have to write a paper about how bad racism is in order for you to believe that they don't like find it acceptable. | ||

The reason why black people called each other "Nigga" instead of "Nigger" was an attempt to own that word that whites used against them for years. And turn it into a term of endearment, now this new generation feels like they have some right to join the fucking club. No motha fucka your not in the club and you will never be in the club, you don't even know the history behind the orignal word nor do you give a fuck lol. 500 years........500 fucking years of rape, kidnapping, murder, destroying families, imprisonment, death penalities, lynching, segregation, voter supression. And the sad part is.... most blacks are conservative and would be republican if they weren't so fucking racist. Now instead of upfront racism, they do overt racism, and try to deflect such claims by trying to flip it around with ridiculous logic. They don't teach black history at all... and texas has gone as far as to try and rewrite the history books so that slavery doesn't seem as bad. This is a much deeper problem than this guy. In fact I don't blame him, I blame the society that condones what he says and does. | ||

He is getting the smack down for something gamers say all the time the only difference is that he represents a figure. If esports was more common place imagine if some sports caster rattled off a racial slur. Yes he would most likely force a nationwide apology and probably keep his job Orb being young and inexperienced made a mistake that may as wellaim his journalistic and casting career. Destiny just flaunts his mumbo jumbo and his ideals to justify himself, in a way he is like reality TV you can play games or watch destiny play the same game but save you the time and frustration you yourself would endure.
