1. 4. It is better to be oversensitive than otherwise.
5. Said player would have had it better if he conducted himself in a more professional manner (as a professional). If he released a statement simply saying "I did not say [insert racial/derogatory slurs], however, even if I did I would like apologize to anyone that may have even slightly been offended by seeing these words [in relation to me]. I do not believe that these words have a place in our starcraft/e-sports community or anywhere for that matter."

I'm not a fan of orbs. I find his casting irritating. and sometimes flat out wrong. however if destiny can say "nigger" without backlash from the sc2 community it better not call orb out. egs reaction and discipline is another story.

Fair enough. My point is that a lot of these keyboard warriors and white knights on reddit didn't give a crap about Orb or what he said on his stream. Now that he's a more public figure and a caster for EG, they scream about how they're SO offended by the use of the N-word. Bullshit, they don't give a crap that he used the N-word, he's just a victim of the reddit drama queens.

Is anyone actually offended by this? It's not like he was actively pushing a racist agenda on everyone, he just used a couple of bad words in a moment of emotion. Yeah maybe it wasn't the smartest thing to do or the most sensitive but really do we need numerous threads defacing this guy?

This is pretty much how I feel about it. If he just came out straight saying "I'm sorry, I say dumb things on ladder sometimes, I'll try to make sure it will never happen again" instead of lying to everyone and trying to cover up what happened it would've all been fine.

You must also consider the amount of people who will think EG is stupid if they kick Orb out. Which I imagine is a fairly considerable amount seeing as how there is this much discussion and debate over this.
What if SlayerS boot Cella for getting totally fucking wasted and going on stream and saying all sorts of shit? I'm pretty sure that's stupid. How many people are going to stop liking the team SlayerS because Cella did stupid things while drunk? It is the exact same thing as with Orb. No one is going to not watch EGMC or dislike EG any for having Orb after these events. That's absurd. After all, Orb is infinitely better at casting than any main casters. He's also not nearly as obnoxious.
The idiocy that ensues after any silly minor event is simply outrageous and depressing.

Wait.... Orb moved into the house right after Axslav was asked to leave?
That just makes this worse.... I actually didn't know he was living with EG. Plus Axslav is such a solid and good guy, and a great caster.
