For all I care he can use the "n-word" (NIGGER) as long as he wants, I don't care. He just shouldn't do it while officially casting for whatever organization. Imo, this doesn't deserve the attention it is getting, i mean we have a WHOLE thread dedicated to people talking in exactly the same manner during games on Bnet and we don't go out and persecute all of them. To me what it comes down to, Did this happen during some kind of sponsored event? No. Was his stream in any way representing anyone other than himself? No. So whats the big deal? Ok so the N word is still a bit of a sore issue with some people and in some contexts can be very racist still. From the screen shots and conversation it's pretty clear this was just rage pure and simple with some poor word choice, definitely not the biggest deal. I'm not very up on where Orb stands in the community (if hes on a team or w/e) so there is some issue there I suppose where he could be representing a group like that in his day to day activities, but besides that this just feels like an article in the SC2 tabloids. Should all blow over in a couple weeks. | ||
