How about a fairer allocation of wealth then, stop the majority of fans paying for the minority's content? #occupyGOM Also fuck their ghetto ass stream. Do you know the Korean stream of GSL is free, completely HD, along with free VOD? Not sure if trolling...can anyone confirm this? ALSO: GSL entry are always free, in fact, they give you pizza and thundersticks. Again, can you confirm free HD vods? Where are you getting this information from exactly? The live stream is free for foreigners, but the korean version is on television which (I admit I don't know for sure) is not a free public channel. Also, foreign money pays for foreign production. You do realize GSL has a lot of sponsors that pays for shit like prize money/etc?

And blizzard takes money from foreign tournaments, with total biscuit saying 100% advertisement revenue, while sponsoring gsl prize money... will you guys try to protest them too? They're adamant in trying to promote SC2 in Korea, I'd say. Does it mean that BW's once multi billion dollar industry still ecplises in revenues those 180 countries SCII is able to reach out to currently? Who knows...

You can infer how much ticket sales that comes up to, fairly easily, from there.

SC2 is doing just fine, so is SC:BW. That chart is completely irrelevant since in order to play SC2, you actually have to had purchased the game to have your own account, so that's why it isn't so popular in the Korean PC Bangs. Those that will point that it's the same case with Aion or WoW so wrong, since a lot of the internet cafes in my country do have those games as well, but they're usually connected to private servers. That ain't the case with SC:BW and WC3. So ... What was your point again ? SC2 not doing well in Korean PC Bangs ? I could've told you that without even setting foot in Korea. But in general - SC2 is doing quite good. Else we wouldn't have had the Korean ladder being so hard and levels above the other regions. As well as all the Korean pros kicking butts left and right in international tournaments. Seriously OP, you're such a downer. If a game isn't making it into a chart, that doesn't means it's not doing good. Specially a chart like that, where you can look at the rest of the competition and be like "Huh ?! Whatever !".

SC2 isn't SC1, it has become a global community and not a single nation-centric sport like BW. The non-Korean scene provides much more high quality standards and Koreans are finally forced to acknowledge that and start to integrate themselves. We don't need 'em, but they need us. Good thing that we don't have an isolation committee like in old times. Hopefully, we will soon forget the "Korean vs. Foreigner" mentality and can move on to [team] player vs. [team] player. I am quite glad that Star2 isn't that popular to be overregulated.
