No huge surprise there, it's been speculated about for weeks, but just to make it official Alliance taking over for EG. No announcement regarding Ves/Eg so far. | ||

Last year they could be owned by the same person they just had to have different names, so maybe they just kept that rule in effect. | ||

But we dont know the rulees yet. Might still be the old ones and then it would be ok. In any case Allaince/Eg will have made sure in advance that this works. | ||

So 3 possibilities: 1. Rules are changed to no double teams, owners are fine. 2. Alliance is confirmed not to be owned by EG owner or sold to another owner. 3. EG.NA isnt supposed to requalify, and if they do they will deal with the situation as it arises. | ||

Alex does indeed own or is affiliated with Alliance, see http://i.imgur.com/IcSJYbO.png. Its just not on papers or officially, hence why its legal in LCS. | ||
