LPL playoffs and regionals decided, world elite misses their second regionals in a row due to losing in time tiebreaker against LGD (I am not kidding, no time to play a tiebreaker they did it based on who took longest to lose). LPL Summer playoffs teams are EDG/OMG/Starhorn royal club and LGD. Regionals teams are EDG/iG (Runner up of LPL spring)/OMG/Starhorn/LGD http://www.ongamers.com/articles/one-chinese-will-be-invited-to-join-ogn-champions-/1100-2104/ A chinese team has been given the offer to play in ogn qualifiers, vici gaming and world elite are the two mentioned and are the likely favourites to take this offer, but there is caution that Khan got into loads of trouble for ditching NLB to play in LPL for world elite academy since he was basically in two regions at the same time. Likely whatever team plays in this will forfeit their LPL/LSPL slot. Also worth noting that SEA was mentioned as targets for kespa to bring over to play in OGN. | ||

I'll also mention something that Kelsey Moser mentioned on the last China Talk, which is that Chinese teams are actually only interested in competing at highest level and not money, fame and fanbase (becaue if that was the case, they would stream instead of playing in LPL). And for that reason she believes her inside sources which say that all top teams are lining up to get the OGN qualifier spot. | ||

With all those focuses on regional tournaments, reduction of GSLs per year and other stuff. Hope, it's not going to be a case even if WCS has something from lovely S2 circuit. | ||
