That is the most confusing thing I've read in awhile. The guy is unable to juggle both and decides to choose his girlfriend over the team so he leave but doing so mid season would hurt the team. He stays on to help them qualify then after he leaves they all start flaming him? Seems like a stand up guy that made a choice and now his teammates ate too much salt.

I don't want to be racist but the nature of competitive spirit in China in like, any team sport, is to be salty and bitch about every little things all the time, in public. Team unity goes to the point where they eventually run into a kink and meet someone who just str8 shit on them a couple games and then shit starts to fly, and when it's all said and done they hang their shitstained pants for the public to see.
It's fucking funny they're talking about being professional when they all just decide to air out team business and personal relationships so that some random joes can comment on it. What the fuck? It's just unneeded drama, it's insulting to the guy that left and it just looked fucking bad to the team. What message does it convey when the guy left the team peacefully and then his older teammates just started talking shit behind his back? Is the new guy coming in supposed to trust the other 4?
You're won't beat the Koreans because you lack technical skills, you won't beat them cuz y'all are little babies.
Well team saying no to media works with a certain party because of rudeness coming from said party is a new precedent, at least in the NA scene.
Maybe that would get Monte and Thoorin to stop circlejerking about how bad TSM is. I don't know who the fuck that Thoorin guy is or what credential he has to talk shit about teams. And while I would agree with a lot of what Monte is saying about TSM, dude needs to chill a bit and be less "in your face" about it, especially when his own team has taken backseat to TSM in pretty much everything that matters for 2 years now.
Like damn, i watched insight and it's like an hour straight of Thoorin going "ay this guy/team fucking blows, do u agree Monte" and Monte would be like "ye they fucking blow." It's not even like, hard hitting. People like Kobe and Jatt approaches the same topic on the analyst desk with much less bias and still get the point across. These guys could do much better because they're on the inside, but no, gotta ruin it by starting the topic with "ay these guys blows."

It's not really anything new, in the broader scheme of things. Ask 1 wrong question at press conferences for pro sports teams and your ass isn't ever getting back in.
In esports it's new, and we're still in the stage of one team refusing to work with a media outlet instead of said media outlet being boycotted by everyone.
I haven't heard what Thorin said verbatim, buy it seems a little childish to shut down all avenues of communication because someone is talking bad about your team. LeBron James doesn't refuse to do interviews with ESPN because Stephen A Smith was critical of him during a segment. I mean if you don't wanna appear on Summoner's Insight, sure whatever, but halting interviews with Travis just because they work for the same website is silly. You're the owner of a pro team, people are gonna play armchair QB, deal with it.

To be fair, Stephen A. Smith never says things like "Come on, he's a fuckin' shittah mate!" If it's okay for Thorin to decide to run his mouth as a prominent figure in the journalism that surrounds the game, then teams are well within their right to cut him and people that associate with him out.
That's a product of being on the Internet rather than national television. Sure, Regi can choose to do this if he likes, but in my eyes it's a bit overboard. Just ignore Thorin and get on with your life. Also that part about him claiming that Travis told them to trash talk TSM sounds like total horseshit.
Media's ability to access teams and players is ultimately a privilege. I don't see what's wrong with denying that privilege to a party that's been excessively disrespectful towards your team. At the moment, I'd say the media needs the team more than the team needs the media, so Summoner's Insight/onGamers/Gamespot was especially tactless in its alienation of the biggest NA team.
what did he say? if he called Gleeb a shitter he has been a shitter so far in the LCS
I mean like State of the league had unlimited access to pro players and yet that show was a steaming pile of garbage because they wouldn't talk about anything. which culminated in the creation of SUmmoners insight when as a guest on the show Thoorin couldn't get a single panelist to take a stance on the XDG role swap no matter how hard he tried, and I really don't think it's going out on a limb to have an opinion about that one..
If the vods and threads are correct Reginald got advice from Loco to not do interviews and social media less to lessen strain on players, the focus on OnGamers with this was due to Regi stating he does not think anything positive comes from Summoning Insight.

Well it's cool to call a spade a spade and say such and such has been under performing and whatnot. That's their job and they should be doing that.
I think what ticked regi off was monte and thoorin was basically laughing at the ban phases from those three games where 3 junglers got banned and then the opposing team fp lee sin. Popoff tweets was one thing but it got a bit too much when thoorin and monte literally went "huehuehuheueh they're bad". Oh, and there was that one tweet when thoorin basically called gleeb a nobody.
Like, yes, tsm' ban phase sucks and gleeb has just been really bad, but they went a lil hard there.
If regi never released the vlog, I'd agree that he has valid points to deny interviews with his team especially now that theyre playing like trash, so they can focus on the game.
But it seems like he's mad that his decision to block ongamers somehow got leaked from travis to the rest of ongamers? Well not only is travis one of the "big guys" there but regi didnt anticipate that someone sooner or later might wonder why travis doesnt interview the most popular team anymore.
