Aye, lots of roster changes for TSM lately. I've never been a fan of the team, but it's still a bit shocking to see the very last member of that old lineup leave just like that. Their only starting members who've been a part of TSM for more than 6 months now are Dyrus in top lane and WildTurtle as ADC, everyone else is "new".

Well, at some point they had to do it.
I agree that they could wait until next Spring, but first, Amazing and Gleeb didn't cost them a lot, and i bet that they sold Xpecial for veeeery good money.

And there is no reason to think that this team can't make Worlds, with amount of raw talent in it.

Gleeglarbu joins TSM as new support.
Gonna hate writing that name in LRs -_-

This screams a PR move by Regi. I'm a bit skeptical the whole team unanimously decided on Gleeb and the decision of where Xpecial goes wasn't up to Xpecial.
Next split top 2 is C9/CLG with 3rd between TSM/LMQ

CLG needs a top laner before they can even think of contesting a top 2 finish, and Amazing for TSM is a pretty big upgrade over TheOddOne...

You can't compare influence from toplane and from support in game.

I wasn't- I'm expecting Gleeb to be about as good as Xpecial for TSM, and if we're comparing TSM vs. CLG, then the more relevant roster swaps for either team will be Amazing over OddOne for TSM (big upgrade) and ??? over Nien for CLG- and considering that CLG started looking for a new top laner a while ago and still haven't found one, while dig already has a new top and mid and TSM already has a new jungle and support... it makes you wonder if CLG's having trouble finding their new top laner.

No way that Glee will be as good as Xpecial. If TSM get lucky he won't lose them half their games but that's about all you can expect right now.

CLG is smart. They actually try different players and fly them to LA to let the team get a good feel before announcing that they have a new player.

Yeah, they also took Nientonsoh and made him play top lane l0l and thought he'd be the next Jesus.

But...but MECHANICS, that's what you need in your top right?

Gleebglarbu is a proven shitter.

Wildturtle before Chaox came around was a proven ADC who could also play mid fairly well (Think he showed that vs WE at IPL). Chaox wasn't anything special so he's fairly easy to replace, but you have to consider Xpecial as legitimately top tier in NA in terms of supports, as he has been a huge playmaker for them for a long time. Gleebglarbu lost to Yolopete and fed a ton in his promotional series. He's a shitter.

I doubt Xpecial wanted to stay with TSM.
If you watched any one C9T's promo matches or their challenger series matches its fairly obvious Xpecial>Gleeb by far

This is the first time TSM has changed more than one player at a time. I suppose the brand image will remain intact with Bjerg and Dyrus still on the roster. Glee might improve but now he's pretty bad compared to Xpecial. Also rip bunny. Not sure how I feel about Curse picking him up...poor Cop, the wheel of supports keeps on turning.

I can't imagine that Gleeb is considered a permanent replacement. I think TSM was forced into a spot where Xpecial's attitude had finally broken the other 4 members of the team and they could no longer play with him, but were left with no real options when it comes to replacing him since good supports are hard to come by. However, it's possible for challenger supports to come into the LCS and make game-changing plays and come into their own. Look at BunnyFuFu and Sheep - they played exceptionally well in the split despite not being big names beforehand.

My guess is that TSM will play a very mid/jungle focused style where the goal is to get Bjergsen fed and Amazing farmed at the expense of the other lanes. So I think that TSM will do well off the strength of their European players and Dyrus' consistency, and if Gleeb has the effect of motivating the other players, then he's bringing a benefit to their team that won't be apparent until the split actually starts.

It's not like TSM hadn't played this style lol.
All split long before Bjergsen's visa issues TOO wasn't ganking any lane but mid.

Well, it's not like Gleeb lost to Yolopete, and considering that Altec is TSM sub, ofc they asked him about Gleebglarbu.
And when you have ability to get Xpecial, you can sacrifice Bunny who plays one champion, only victim in this situation is Cop.

Bunny had a good Leona and Thresh but he didn't do anything really on other supports.

It means that criticizing Regi for making a change in a spot where his entire team decided is an issue, given his record of making good swaps overall, is premature at best.

TSM has tried out multiple supports, they just don't go "No talent in our region GG" and immediately look elsewhere. CLG as an organization has had this stubborn refusal to look anywhere in NA since Aphro originally left, and probably only looked back to him due to previous experience with him.

Either way, no matter how good Xpecial was the team thought he was an issue. He was good enough to be given a chance to keep his spot and he continued to be a passive aggressive douche.

Uh oh, sick call.
Well, CLG throwing Saintvicious in S2 is a mistake.
Who else. I assume, that Curse throwing Elementz right before Spring 2013 playoffs is a mistake.

Can't remember other right now.

It's not like finding support and toplane in NA is same.
So, i can't blame CLG in searching other regions.

just because clg and curse sucked at replacing them doesn't mean that the game wasn't beginning to pass st.v and elements by.

Xpecial Turtle were considered the 2nd best if not the best bot lane in NA. Gleeb lost to Fking yolopete at relegations and you are going to tell me this is an upgrade? BS.

I doubt TSM would've let Xpecial go if he really was that much better than Gleeb; I'd give Regi the benefit of the doubt on this, considering how well previous roster swaps have gone for them.

Isn't it more along the lines of. "Hey X you aren't playing as much as the other guys so you better start putting more time and effort into it like the rest?" That's what I got from that meeting anyway. It had everything to do with commitment and even though X was pulling through for the most part compared to the other guys they still had to let him go.

Damn it, no Cool for me T______T
SKT T1 will win anyway.
Only Azubu/CJ teams can go to international events and not win.
