It was a great achievement for players to get onto the team (SaintVicious still sports the jacket) and it was pretty cool for the community to crown the best/most popular players at each position. I was really excited how the Balls vs Dyrus and WildTurtle vs Doublelift voting would turn out. Well, Miniworlds is nice too and gives the LCS playoffs some signifance. | ||

LPL regular season finishes by the time, ideally the winners of the playoffs would have been sent but I see no problem with sending the 1st place from the league instead. | ||

But I don't see why it has to be one or the other. Considering that it was fairly popular, could have held all-stars as well instead of the mixed teams playing on silly game modes. | ||

There were no attractions for allstars, anybody remotely interested in watching competitive play knew it was a complete joke. Outside of "lel my favourite players are on one team!!" what do you gain? A whole damn lot of subpar play because players 1) dont care and 2) arent going to reveal tactics to other teams (everything from rotations to picks) so you end up with garbage games that are reminiscent of high level soloQ because nobody gives a fuck and arent going to just openly give away their (+their teams) inner workings to their competitors. Seriously all "all-stars" was last year was a massive popularity contest with a ridiculous prize at the end of it. I'd much rather watch all the same players playing with their team against the others in games that matter to them. TL;DR - International competition good, Teams playing together for something that matters good, 2013 all stars roflol bad | ||

This tournament is the same as All-Stars except with the actual best teams from each region rather than dumping 5 players together. Of course they cared but I don't see how you could possibly claim that the latter is more competitive or more representative of each region. | ||
