NaNiwa not invited to Code S - Page 6

While I understand that there's a need to discuss this matter, this thread has way too many trash posts in it. Please think carefully about what you want to say. Ad hominem attacks on Swedish people in general, calling you fellow Starcraft fans idiots etc etc will be dealt with with harsher punishment from here on out. Keep it civil people. Page 230: Here's some more stuff that'll get you banned! - Conspiracy theory mongering about MLG and GOM - Comparing people to Hitler - Posting useless one liners of arguments that have already been repeated ad nauseum.

The rest of you rallying behind him because of nationalism is a bad joke. If an australian did this, I'd be ashamed of him, not talking about boycotting a tournament. Get some perspective.

I think they should've just demoted him to the Up/Down, swapping places with Idra. However, it's understandable. What he did was very unprofessional, and his conduct has been unprofessional at dozens of tournaments now. It was about time that Naniwa actually suffered a penalty for it all. It's the only way to teach him to behave.

People paid to see "the best" and got IM's B-roster instead, that's what the comparison is about. And unless it's in any contract that you have to play your absolute best in absolutely every match, NaNiWa shouldn't be punished like that.

You don't make a fool of yourself and the people hosting the tournament you're playing in and expect to be able to keep your spot. This isn't some second class league begging for people to come play in it, this is the GSL and there's a line out the door of professionals who want a shot at Code S. Naniwa doesn't deserve special treatment. I'm happy Sen got the spot, I can't wait to see how he does.
