who likes electro music (dubstep etc included) what kinds / who do you listen to prefered noise while gaming? i listen to alot of dubstep and electronic house like skrillex, deadmau5 etc i also make some ( http://soundcloud.com/tapetalkarma ) (((not to be precived as advertising my own noise just curious about wat you all think so give mine a listen if you want) or ignore that and just talk about what you like to listen to and share it with me =]
thats a very helpful comment ... please unless you actually have something related to electronic to talk about or share with us refrain from putting your hands on the keyboard
i feel pretty much the same way about skrillex and the "mainstream" dubstep scene his noise was okay till he blewup in fame and then made the same track over and over again to make little schoolgirls happy. dubstep is far from what it started as but i do like where its gone for the most part

one if you look youd see that yes there are others but not discusing what i wanted to when your reading threads, read ones you actually care about, or refrain from putting your hands on the keyboard and lowering people I.Q anymore
edit: vv if you like where it's headed i find it impossibly unlikely you have any appreciation/knowledge of where it actually started. since it's a matter of opinions whether there's any artistic or musical value to be found in the genre today i won't bother making a further point about it.[/QUOTE]
theres still much artistic/musical value in todays dubstep too. far from how it began but everything changes. i dont have the knowledge persay of where it started but i do appreciate it as ive listened to electronic noise for years and years. it has fallen down but it has also come up

just for fun, name one way in which your thread's topic differs from the ones linked for you, other than for flaunting your soundcloud "noise" as the bro jocks these days call what used to be music?
your long and expansive post. the conversation and your unstoppable hipster vibe of i am superior because i arnt one of these "bro jocks" its music. deal with it

that's not an answer to the question, i didn't make this thread and even if i did, it'd be useless in the face of other threads discussing the same thing. i haven't seen any conversation in this thread either what comes to my standards for the use of the term. most of the posts in this thread are by either you doing oneliners defending the existence of this thread, or by others calling you out for not getting how no such defense can be made by any stretch of logic
false most of the posts are from kids like you who even though other threads exist feel the need to come to this one anyways.... oh my god.. maybe thats why this thread is here? and actually that did answer your question
even the title of the thread "electronic music talk" is almost identical to the huge existing thread: "Electronic Dance Music Discussion", except that the latter is better.

a thread that exists just to argue its own right to exist needs to be deleted.
I'm into UK Dubstep (not the skrillex sound, think burial and scuba), uk funky, juke, garage, 2 step, future garage, a little bit of house, and a little bit of techno.

seriously? "Hi I have 23 posts, most of which are just trying to justify my multiple postings of my soundcloud link in threads that shouldnt exist anyway, and I went straight to flaming when people pointed it out. I clearly deserve to be on this planet more than you"
if you're being this hostile over people pointing out that your thread is redundant i'm not sure you're gonna last very long on tl, this kind of posting behavior doesn't really fly here

i am aware of that and yes it might not last long. although it was my goal to have a educated mature convo about music. i get hostile when people point out things i clearly know in an attempt to bother me. attempt succeded. so i get hostile. if the thread is closed for that im okay with it. i tryed to have a thread about music (ther then the 32841636 threads out there) but if there is already a thread all you get are people telling you that over and over

What's more annoying is someone who creates YET ANOTHER EDM THREAD that adds nothing to TL, and then complains when people call him out about it.
No one is acting superior but you, insinuating that people are retarded and don't deserve to post in your threads. Take a step back, realize what you are doing, and admit that this thread wasn't needed.

Also it's been said before but I'll say it again. There's a search feature. Use it. TL (read: the mods) don't approve of multiple threads that talk about the same things. It keeps the forums clean to have one go to thread for things. Hence why everyone keeps directing you to the electronic music discussion thread.
For some reason I feel like threads like this are just one-way self-indulged exhibitions where everyone just posts their own favorite songs while not even paying the slightest amount of attention to anyone else

no one thought you were stupid before you continually flamed and called other people names for pointing out the generally accepted rules of the TL community. if you want to be part of a community, following the rules and NOT flaming people are usually the best starting places.
and the fact that you know other threads exist but you just dont want to post in them doesn't mean youre not breaking the rules. it just means you know about the rules and choose to ignore them - making all your arguments pointless.
There are many a threads about this. There's DnB threads, dubstep threads and so on. No real point for this >_>. Also DNB, I believe you are quite right.

best part is i never said it wasnt needed. no its not needed. and im not insinuating that i was flat out telling them that maybe this threads not needed but neither is your or anyother comment not based on the topic of the thread
and the reason i made "another" thread with the same link is cuz the first one was only the link thus got closed and no topics to discuss so was advertising this one was made in the attempt of conversation about music

so basically you got told you can't make a thread advertising your soundcloud channel, so you took the topic of another thread and put it in the exact same thread that got closed, to try and sneak past the mods? clever...

sigh... take it how you will. im done trying to change your mind as it cant be done. please continue taking this thread farther and farther away from what it was supposed to be about
