You get matched even, and then the opponent is absolutely awful?
This annoys me so much. I almost feel insulted that b.net thinks I'm this bad.
And this isn't the first time I've been matched against people who are much worse than me. I guess it's because I'm so bad at pvp that blizz assumes I'm just terrible.
Anyways despite winning I am still annoyed I had to waste however many minutes playing against someone who I deemed unworthy of my time.

Chances are that he isn't much worse than you, perhaps he's even better than you.
He could be amazing at PvZ or PvT, he could have really strong macro or micro, he could have just had an off game, etc.

Yes, battle.net thinks you are bad. It deliberately matches you with the worst possible player whenever you are laddering because it thinks that's hilarious. Match making systems are human too, you know?

I find this so demoralizing. It's utterly retarded that b.net thinks I'm this good.

Anyways despite learning from my losses I can't help but feel I spent however many minutes getting stomped by someone who probably think I'm unworthy of his time.

You're right, we could keep basically everything we ever share or talk about to ourselves. But most people share the notion that there are things that are worth sharing because they might be interesting to a wider range of people. Apparently the people posting here don't think that way about your blog.

edit: I actually feel terrible for you. How dare the matchmaking system not know you personally. You took it out to dinners, movies, you even managed to get it to the bedroom before it showed some abstinence and then on the ladder, it showed absent[minded]ness when it paired someone not equal to your skill and showing.
How dare it do that? How dare that algorithm of varying forms of determining one's ranking, skill and magnificent decision-making not take into account your viewpoint and highly-regarded stance about yourself. I mean, you talked about it all over dinner during that double-date with the 90s printer and your friend: Obnoxiousness [Obo for short].
First you pay for dinner, then you play for this game called StarCraft II just so that you two can do stuff together: she matches you with skilled and worthy opponents and you knock them down to impress her and show your might.
How dare she toy you around with these low-life skill-less punks. Does she know who you are? Does she? You showed her tons of replays and highlights of your best moments. What's not to get? How difficult is it to understand your perspective that you only want to play with the best of the best of the best of the best, but somehow within range that you can beat him or honorably lose without feeling too bad about yourself or puncturing your pride.
